Trooper Q2[TK] Posted October 5, 2010 Report Posted October 5, 2010 I am submitting for my 2nd EIB with ANH Stunt. I followed the EIB Requirements for FX kit. I used a TE version of ANH Stunt version Helmet with Flat Green Lenses (Welders). Canvas Belt with a ANH Version Holter riveted to Belt with 2 Rivets. Side gaps fitted. I cut Butt Plate. The Hasboro Blaster is ANH version with a ring on back with mods. Like I said, this is an FX Suit version ANH. Thanks for your consideration. Quote
Quebectrooper Posted October 6, 2010 Report Posted October 6, 2010 Nice suit Allan. I'm not EIB yet but from looking at the guidelines and many other EIB photos it seems your blaster is missing the row of holes on the bottom left side. Also if you wanna be a little more accurate your detonator control panel plate should be shorter on the right side (it should'nt be even). The drop boxes seem a little too low. besides that you look great. Good luck. Pat Quote
Daetrin[Admin] Posted October 6, 2010 Report Posted October 6, 2010 Actually I think you did an excellent job Allan. Actually the split of the butt should be visible below the belt. Quote
Trooper Q2[TK] Posted October 6, 2010 Author Report Posted October 6, 2010 Actually I think you did an excellent job Allan. Actually the split of the butt should be visible below the belt. Thanks Paul. can you tell me if that will pass or can you PM me how to take care of. Should I cut another cut on Butt Plate? Quote
Daetrin[Admin] Posted October 6, 2010 Report Posted October 6, 2010 If you follow the line on the kit the cut will be too high and hidden behind the belt. With FX all you can really do is do a best effort to make it look like Pablo (below). This will really depend on your shape. I'd suggest getting kitted up (I mean, not the legs/arms, but the torso) and standing sideways in front of a mirror. Then, have your wife/gf/garrison mate (as is available) place a line of tape where the cut should be. This way you can "preview" it with the armor on before making the physical cut. Make sense? FWIW, for me at least getting the kidney/butt to look right was the hardest part of doing the strapping, and a no-butt guy like me had to resort to using strategically placed foam to get it to sit correctly. Trooper Q2[TK] Posted October 7, 2010 Author Report Posted October 7, 2010 I will fix that this weekend.. Thanks for the Tip. Quote
