Holster connections

I’m working on modding my armour for accuracy and EIB status but I’ve hit a snag with regards to attaching the holster for ANH –Stunt as the information in the academy has some discrepancies to the placement of the rivets/snaps/ etc. Some info states they should be attached at the top and some state it should be attached at the bottom, as below.

2 at bottom of holster strap;

----

'the holster will be affixed with two fasteners at the bottom. These may be rivets, snaps, or Chicago screws'

----

'The holster will be affixed with two fasteners at the bottom, instead of none or four. These may be rivets, snaps, or Chicago screws.'

2 at top of holster strap;

----

'â– For ANH Stunt, the holster will be affixed with two fasteners at the top. These may be rivets, snaps, or Chicago screws'

----

ANH Stunt :

* The holster should be attached using only two fasteners at the top of the straps.'

Can someone offer some clarification please? :unsure:

I'm not quite sure which bit you mean?

The bit where the holster straps attach to the belt?

Heros had 4 2 top, 2 bottom and stunts just 2 at the top

Is that whats confusing you?

hello Mr Danter,

Yep, I'm on about where the holster straps attach to the belt. I had thought that it was as you descibed but the sources I stated have some discrepansies about this as two say that it should be just 2 at the bottom whilst the other two say 2 at the top :unsure:

EDIT : Original post now has direct relevent quotes.

So I was after some clarification so that i can go for EIB status.

Craig

As long as you meet the full requirements for all the elements of your armour I can see

no reason why not mate. :)

Here’s a quick guide for ANH holster placement that may help.

To ensure that you have covered off all the requirements, take a quick look at our previous

EIB submissions as well as studying the different elements of the real on screen guys.

If I remember right you have an FX, so you may want to take a look at Paul – Daetrin thread

outlining some of the changes needed to apply to an FX for EIB standards.

Hope this helps mate :)
