Quebectrooper Posted May 4, 2010 Report Posted May 4, 2010 Is it better to stick a black stripe around the ears or to hand paint it ? I'm nervous and my hand shakes... Quote
firebladejedi[TK] Posted May 4, 2010 Report Posted May 4, 2010 I do this detailing with a pen but I have seen others use black detailing tape around the ear. Do whichever you are comfortable with. Quote

Shooter Posted May 4, 2010 Report Posted May 4, 2010 I used black automotive pinstriping tape and think it works great. You can grab it at Canadian Tire for around $4. Quote

SolderMaster Posted May 9, 2010 Report Posted May 9, 2010 I had my wife paint mine! I was too shakey. She did a fine job! Quote
bluehickey Posted May 9, 2010 Report Posted May 9, 2010 You could always create a mask using regular tape around the ears leaving only the area exposed that you want to paint. Once the paint is dry, remove the tape to have a crisp line. Quote
