  1. I wouldn't recommend doing that as once you cut the screws you might have a problem getting them back in. Just use a regular set of plier cutters to cut them. They're pretty small so you don't need a lot of force to get it done.
  2. I always cut my screws down once everything is finished up. I also add a dab of hot glue to the ends of the screws because they're still sharp and WILL cut your nose.
  3. I made a spring for my SRProps gun out of a coat hanger. I spun it around a pool cue i had until it had the right size. Came out pretty good.
  4. Throw it on a mannequin and display that sucker. I'm assuming you have standing room somewhere.
  5. Nope it's there. Picture quality sucks because it's from my phone. I'll take another one...
  6. You can find them on Ebay for lots cheaper. I bought 200 snaps for around 30 bucks.
  7. I always use aluminum foil. I grab a piece and wrap it around a cylindrical object, like my salt shaker. Then I scrunch up the sides to make it a bit more solid and smaller. Spray in there and once you're done, throw it out.
  8. How tall are you, Chris?
  9. Can you pry them off and redo them? If not, I guess you could add another set of snaps.
  10. Yeah, there's really only one tool out there that's reliable for putting those things together and its this: http://www.amazon.com/Tandy-Leather-Craftool-Press-3990-00/dp/B003CH9YQ4/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1313083596&sr=8-2 Too much $$ for me, which is why I never got it. Then again, if I knew how many snaps I'd be putting together back then, I probably would have sprung for it.
  11. I've never found a pair of snap pliers that can effectively put together those line 24 snaps. Pick up a snap tool with anvil at your local Tandy leather and use the hammer method instead. That's always worked for me. You can find the tool and anvil for around six bucks.
  12. Which snaps specifically are you having problems with?
  13. Thanks guys. I'm gonna be heading over to Lowes and Home Depot later today to check it out.
  14. I actually do high intensity weight training. I only rest 1 minute in between sets. This keeps my heart rate up and basically allows me to get away without doing cardio. I've done it before and it's worked REALLY well. I'm at 220 now. I had to skip the last two days of working though, as I've been under the weather.
  15. Yeah I saw that. I'm more interested in doing everything myself TBH.
  16. I'm having a hard time sourcing some 1.5"/40mm waste pipe for my Doopy pipe builds. I've only tried one Lowes and one Home Depot so far. Anyone got a reliable source for some, or have any tips on finding some in the states?
  17. It appears as if links default to white in the new grey theme for the forum, like this : www.google.com
  18. You can get the plans for making your own here:---------
  19. This looks like the female end of a snap, judging from the size. Am I correct? According to the CRL for Centurion:
  20. I use hot glue. I just make sure to keep it at a lower heat so it doesn't melt the eyes. Alternatively you can use silicone. It takes a little longer to set, but once it does you're good to go.
  21. Step 1: Don't make mistakes. Step 2: There is no step 2.
  22. Nice! I'll be keeping an eye on this build. I might be springing for a nice ROTJ in the near future.
