Nice, lets see some nice pics when it arrives with you... stand about 6 feet away and zooooooooooooooom in
will do boss.....
You realise Mark I blame you for all this lid collecting business....
-
Well, i've gone and done it and added this to my collection literally 60 seconds ago.....
-
Bruce
Ahoy there matey.... welcome buddy, you're nearly there...
Firstly if you are getting a UKG resin blaster then it will no doubt be fine......
Secondly, I have one of Justin's E-11's too (itchynuts) and they are the bee's knee's of blasters...... the only thing i'll say is that the blaster has a few mods on it which may not be EIB acceptable... (noteably the scope reticules) i'll post pics on the blaster section tomorrow....(I could be wrong though.....)

Hey Darren, my AP lid is very snug.... lol, I actually have another one too which i'm experimenting with, so that will become my main trooping bucket... eventually...
Hey Doug, (pleasure sharing these pics with the community).... I thought the guys here would appreciate this GF lid....and let's face it, the GF lid is rare and a work of art for some and not for others.... Incidently, one of the UKG guys has a GF lid and has made it into a Sandy.... when I saw it and tried it on, I thought, I want one of those..... let's face it.... it's part of the SW history in one way shape or form (always wanted to say that line.... lol)
-
Yes, the hovi's are shockingly bad on this and I have a set of Keith's tips lying around somewhere...., i just need to know if this bucket is bigger than my AP bucket? And whether i'd troop in it or have it on display is another matter...
-
Forgot to mention it's a type 2

Chaps
Been told this is a follano lid.... i'm thinking on getting my grubby mits on it and wanted to ask what you think... (of the lid that is and not my mits... )
-----------
Look at how asymmetrical it is...
-
I'll be posting my weathered DLT-19 soon....
-
Nice gun there Bruce, welcome to the BFG club buddy....
Regarding the washer, i cut 2 pieces of an innertube of a bike, works like a charm and gives you a nice tight snug fit.... (mmm that just don't sound right does it..... lol). Derek, regarding the stock, leave it black colour as this is what was Cannon in the films, but it's 6 of one half a dozen of the other, as a brown stock will still get cleared......
Derek, when I carry my DLT-19 on troops, my E-11 is always holstered... you never know if you'll run out of ammo mate.... pack as much firepower as you can handle... hehe
-
That's looking real good so far....
Keep the pics coming and lets us see some more close-ups....
-
Shiv,
Awesome to see the big blaster in action. Glad it found such a good home!
Has the old lady found out yet? LOL
TC
Thanks TC, already seen action in Tescos.... (spot the obvious mistake, i left my E-11 in the changing room... )
Yup got found out too ... lol
Matt > thanks buddy... one turns into a Camera slave with this... lol
Dennis > Weathering is done, but I just need a sunny day to take pics outside..... it's raining here at the moment, well all weekend it's forcasted.....
Oh, hoping to be on Telly next week for Children in Need ... so keeping my fingers crossed for that... (for our overseas troopers, the Children in Need is a charity event in conjunction with the BBC, there will be events up and down the country next Friday and the UKG will be attending a number of events that they....

I was told the other day about this, and had to keep it quiet until it went public....
Now i'll sleep easy....
-
Splendid job, especially on the seam...... looks perfect from what I can see.....
To tell you the truth, I like my MRCE, it has a solid feeling and good weight to it..... and mine is not even modded...
As Darren said, Good work there matey....
-
You and your BFG's Shiv.
You know what they say, " big gun ............."
Yeah, can't find a holster big enough....
-
Well done buddy, I bet you're still smiling eh?
You'll find the first one is always a bit nerve racking... but then it gets better...
Also, you probably find that you start to tweak your armour as you'll find that something will need adjusting here and there.... I know I need....
Anyway, nice one...
-
Greetings from up-over....(as opposed to from down under... hehe)
Congrats and well done Amanda... welcome to the EIB...
That suit looks good on ya..... fits very very well.....
-
Well done Terry and welcome....
Suit looks good on you buddy.... it hangs well and fits like a glove.....
How are you finding wearing the hero lenses? Do you get much distortion?
-
A group piccy....
Thanks to the other sporting guys of the UKG and one padawan
-
It's a fair cop....
Store security were up for a laugh....

Don't mess with the empire rebels
-
Well here's me on a troop with my DLT-19 before it was weathered.....
And yes, i'm in a shopping mall.....
The strore manager then asked us to leave as he said that the store had a no helmets policy... . Some people just have no soul....

As an owner of AP armour, is it better then TM, well that's subjective and is a matter of opinion. I have trooped a few times and each time I see TM armour, I admire it... I admire the lines, I admire the curves, I admire the quality..... Ask FBJ, at my first troop I would have ripped the armour of his body just to try it.... My suit is EIB standard, yet there is something about it that does not please me.... I want better and in my opinion TM is that.... Everytime I see a TM suit, I yearn to own one...... Yes the thighs have a slight pinch.... and yes there are some marginal curves.... but stand an AP trooper next to a TM trooper ... it's simply no contest..... With that in mind, I am seriously considering selling my AP armour (lock, stock & barrel) to move onto TM.......
jk007, nice pics buddy... armour looks good on ya.....
Oh and here's me on a jolly....

Hi Guys,
I'll put some close up shots of mine up tomorrow, weather permitting that is....
My paintwork has an almost metalic dark grey finish to it.. it's very smooth almost as if it's lacquered....
The stock is very black, perhaps to resemble bakelite.... and contrasts with the rest of the gun....
It feels very solid and I will try and drill one of the holes out to see if I can or not.... fingers crossed
-
Yeah Shiv, nice German! Dankeschön!
You mean paint the stock black (as in leave it black) or paint it brown? I'm looking forward to your WIP pics!
Danke.... I did work in Munich for a year, so I learned some German, drank lot's of HBH beer and spent lots of evenings in beer gardens...
Regarding the stock, I was thinking about painting it brown... but may just leave it black as is.... The black paint I have on it at the moment is different from the black/grey resin though, so there is a contrast already....however, it may be difficult to see it in photos.
Oh, by the way, did I tell you, I have found a German eagle emblem symbol on the tripod... I've painted it metallic silver and then wiped off the excess paint so that the paint has seeped into it... Hopefully it will show on the photos...
BTW, I love your signiture.... looks awesome.... permission to steal it too

Awesome pic Jerad..... there's some about a GF suit which IMHO which just makes it special...
Whether i'd troop in one or shove it on a display manequinn is another matter...
However, i'd sure like to get my mits on a complete suit.....
