So I decided to “Spray paint” the whole helmet. So I went out and bought a couple of cans of “Krylon Fusion White Gloss” spray paint. I took my Helmet apart, I got some newspaper and some rocks to hold down the newspaper and went out across my street and set my helmet on the wall and started to spray paint the individual pieces of my helmet. AP Helmet Redo. Back in August, I decided to redo my helmet. I was disappointed with the outcome of using “Sharpie Paint Markers”. I saw the “Sharpie Paint Markers” and though to give it a try. Mistake number 1. At first, I tried to use “Sand paper” to remove the paint. I even tried to use “Mr. Clean Magic Erasers”. Bad mistake! It made it worse! Mistake number 2, the “Sanding” and the “Magic Erasers” caused the paint to smear the helmet. Back in June I went to my Dr.’s for a checkup. I got diagnosed with “Benign Hypertension”. After 5 months of taking Blood Pressure Medication and exercising I am about 10 pounds lighter and my blood Pressure is dropping I got in the mood to continue and finish my AP Build.

Mark, You have a good point. If you would put a original Screen worn suit from ANH, ESB, and ROTJ and have it next to a "EIB", "Centurion" suit built from us and ask which one was from the film. I would say that people would pick OURS! Because of our High Standard Levels and Attention to Details! Andy

Is it me or is there two types of Stormtroopers on Endor? The ones on the At-At Platform with Luke and inside the Bunker have "Shiney" White" Armor and the Strormtroopers outside have "Dirty, Weathered" Armor? Andy

Thanks Jessie for posting these. Is it me or is the TK's forearm's armer pieces overlap? In some of the other pictures they look like they do? I thought for ESB they used the same suits leftover from ANH? Andy

I noticed something too! I could be wrong. It looks like the TK is either missing his brow trim or it is a shorter trim? Andy

I do not know if anyone has mentioned this in the past. Is it me or the TK on the right that is holding the Bowcaster does not have a heel on his boots? It looks like to me that his soles are flat? Andy

I was going to touch up the bottom of the "bell" protion. the part above where the "S trim" goes. Would that effect anything? I am going to wait till next weekend to paint the details on the traps. Andy

I am in the middle of a redo on my lid. I used "Rustoleum, Gloss White Enamel" to paint my lid. I messed up painting my "Traps and Tear's". I tries to sand the paint off, but it made it worse. I put two coats of "Gloss White" on the helmet last evening. It said that the paint will dry in 15 min or less. The question I have is. How long should I wait to paint the "Traps and Tears"? Thanks. The picture are not that clear. From what I can see is that the tube stripes are facing the wrong way. Fixing the black paint, you might have to repaint the face plate. I have a simular problem. I sanded my traps on my helmet and the ink stained it. I am in the process of repainting the whole helmet. Andy
