  1. The dotted line shows the yoke shape that will sit on the front and back plate , bridging them both.
  2. Steve I believe that is just part of the buck .The yoke will Not run that far down on the back .Follow the lines in the mould around the shoulder area ,it will be open at the back so you can slide it on around your neck holding the chest and back.
  3. Great update mate, will the yoke be a separate part to the chest, back ? really like the shins they are spot on .
  4. I will make some up Kevin , and get them over to Steve to pop in your box.
  5. Our imperial crystal ball working in overdrive gang !
  6. Excellent Kevin , im very glade the cross hatch is no more ! BTW I just had a giggle like a small child looking at this coming to life, and im not embarrassed for all to know this. The Recess should have a knob fitted in there I agree , the creative mind says its some sort of temperature control unit. Thanks for this epic update mate .
  7. Hard work and dedication Kevin by the bucket load. can I ask what the cross hatch is ? I know its seen on the sandtrooper chest and it can be taken away for the TK version. Is that your thinking mate ? fantastic shapes and its great seeing the creative process .
  8. Yes yes yes Shoulder bells spot on mate , Not over exaggerated like the GG bust .Looking at the list things are going in the right direction as far as time scale. I would think the lower legs ,ab and kidney would be the most time consuming of the remaining parts. Great update Kevin thank you .
  9. Outstanding Kevin it is so nice to see the chest a back together. The yoke is a stroke of genius mate ! The lads and myself are having a get together this evening and i know this project will be the topic of conversation.
  10. Rock sold Kevin, and nice size ref examples .I can see you have already worked in the yoke into the chest.Very nice curves on this part with the classic little swoop out at the centre bottom of chest. great work mate.
  11. The picture was taken at one of the UKG s larger troops. Everyone who had something Mcquarrie brought it along . Steve and he's light saber , Billy and he's lid and my shield . Even with a stock TK it looks the part , with Kevins armour its going to be epic .
  12. Dont drill any holes Steve ,the bulb is bright enough mate. Dont fix something that is not broken.
  13. Not loud enough ! that thing is an ear bleeder !!! Blimy Steve you have cracked it my son .I would really like to see the White blade mate.Is that a letter M on the tear drop ?
  14. Owning a 3po myself , making reference to the neck area is a good call . You will get an idea of diameter and hight of the neck ring . As for size of chest plate you are also going in the right direction with the tk referencees you have to hand , as I see it the MQU Chevy will look a little bigger because of the closed sides like the clone and 3po .
  15. What a great way to start month three Kevin, My thoughts on the centre rectangle are , keep it ! No other Imperial suit has this detail Tk or clone and the flat area is echoed through the entire ensemble .Flat back of legs Bi-seps forarm ladder . have you used an existing TK chest for size referance or is this by eye and experiance ? What are your plans for the Yoke or have you other ideas in that area now. thanks for the update.
  16. Great job Steve , its really nice to have an imperial technician on the team .
  17. Some things were just ment to be Steve, Epic!
  18. Good call ,i also like the GG bust version ,it puts some real nice shapes on the arms . you can see from the death star trooper it very nearly looks flat on the outside.Seeing as its just you and me kevin on the vote, lets go for the smarter looking GG Bicep . I also think the shield would sit nice against the flat . Oh dont forget the small cut out on the armpit.
  19. Being very slightly Oval will also help the bicep from spinning on the arm and alow the arm to flex a little when suitted up.
  20. Blimy i think ive got my head round these choices lol ,and i think they are smooth all the way round but more oval than cylindrical with a small dip under the armpit. being oval will help the shoulder bell take shape and marry with the bicep.
  21. THX 1138 nice idea , im glad you did'nt use these numbers on the butt section we would all look a little bottom heavy. Ive been looking forward to these pictures from kevin and Steve with both sets turning this fantastic project away from just ideas and thoughts bring the pages of MCQ to life. Boots arive next week and will be sent out , second shield under construction. great stuff gentlemen. Arms ! The return edge will give the ring detail depth. Kevin do you not think the ladder detail runs all the way to the elbow without a step onto the end.?
  22. Crow62 owes alot of folk over at clonetroopers.net so thats a non starter . Boots here is a super size of the original print for anyone who would like it.
