Brian is absolutely right.Out of the box the fx lite is quit acceptable as long as it has been built to the right standards.I know ,i gained access into the ukg which has very high standards and of course elite with an FX lite suit and AP helmet. The only thing i changed on mine was the td ,i bought a fully assembled accurate one only because i couldnt be bothered building the FX one.I also cheated a bit with the return edges,instead i put a bit foam behing the chest,back and shoulder bells to give the illusion of depth instead of the return edge mod. I would reccomend a set of vaderdave's AB buttons ,canvas belt from firebladejedi (or any of the other sellers) and an accurate holster from bernard to finish the suit off. You will also need to cut 2 small circles of plastic to fit ontop of the squares on either side of the front part of the belt to look like the center piece of the belt. so you could save yourself lots of time and money just assembling what you have got. proof of the pudding SDS on the left,FX lite + AP helmet on the right If you need any help give me a shout

Hi Mate, IMHO ,the ears look fine.The problem with the original MR ce ears were they stuck out too much.You actually have me thinking now ,i hav'nt trimmed enough off my ears.The helmet on the left of the pic is an SDS battle spec and the one on the right is an AP built and owned by me .As you can see the ears on the helmets are totally different,your ears look similar in size to the SDS.I am sure someone with more knowlege will chip in soon

Hi Mate, I have the fx but didnt have the problem with the thighs.You do know the left and right thighs are different sizes.I cant remember which way round they are but one is definately bigger than the other.What you need to do is put the thighs on without the back of the thighs velcro'd together allowing you to pull the thighs up to your desired height.If you have a friend or a partner to hand at the time you could get them to measure the gap at bottom and top then make shims accordigly.It looks like from your pics you have shims in the shin pieces so the thighs would look fine.I dont know what size the RT suff is but here is a pic of one of the ukg members with his from a troop last week the last pic,the RT is in the middle,SDS on the left of the pic and FX on the right

SWEET How the f**k did you get all your gear in there ,i packed my 155litre box last night and just got my suit in ,mabye i am being a bit overprotective with the padding and bath towels

hmmmmm!!!!!!!!!! wonder who that would be??????????? mate have a look at my helmet ,i have fitted all the electrics inside an AP (boom mic,rom fx,2 x fans,stomper hovis with speakers and all the batteries to power the stuff .fits like a dream to should be a piece of cake with an fx.listen to daetrin he really knows his stuff. here is a link to a thread about what people ut inside their helmets,i have some pics on there so you can see how it all fits into a smaller helmet. clicky

Is your brand of suit one that has a lip on it.the reason im asking is my mate has an sds suit and has had 2 cracks in it,funilly enough at the top of the shin which happened when taking them off.I believe that the lip on these suits although good to show an illusion of depth ,is bad as when you are opening the shins up to take off or put on the lip part is being pulled in the wrong direction hence it cracking.What we have done to the shins on my mates shin was to remove the lip which removed the crack ,and prevent any further splitting but still sticking a piece of abs behind or extra strength. do you have any pics of the crack

Thankyou scott, just rinsing out my mop and putting my apron on as we speak so heading up to level 5 ,then after that on security patrol and if it all kicks off hopefully with my new imperial issue blaster i might be able to take a couple of rebel scum out. right guys time for an update,blaster arrived back from itchynuts today,he has done an awesome job on it . so here is the updated pic of the blaster .I tried to take the pic from the same angle as the first pic to show the difference.You will notice the D ring on the side of the blaster gone and a more accurate front sight fitted.

WOW. now that sir is dedication ,i know there are alot of different materials on it but it looks a million miles away from the original resin version i saw all those weeks ago.You should be proud .cant wait to see it on sat,mabye even get to touch it next step application photos and you will be as happy as this guy

Im in if its all legit. unfortunately as i live in the uk and dont have a multiregion dvd player i would need to have it in region 2 which is the european format or region free if that is something you can do.

If its an SDS helmet,the frown is actually grey.AA used some kind of stickers rather than paint on the frown and yes the grey of the stickers is a bit darker than the correct colour grey paint.My mate just removed the stickers from his SDS,widened the teeth holes and i have just painted it for him with the correct grey paint SDS battlespec terrible teeth hope that helps
