I have an AP helmet and have used the mix and match tecnique so i am getting all the best pieces of kit. I have a set of bucketworks fans sold here on the forum,rom fx board,radio shack haedset with gooseneck boom (minus headset also removed mic from flexible stalk and used the mic that comes with the rom fx) and finally a set of stompers hovis (no feedback) all wires are covered with black velcro and some fit inside a piece of black flexi pipe.

HeY Bro, Excellent job with the teeth,good enough to be my apprentice LoL.I didnt mask my teeth when i painted them,just used the very fine brush i gave u , a lot of patience and a steady hand.You may also want to have a wet cloth handy incase you make a mistake to wipe the paint off .If you are really struggling with it i am more than happy to paint it up for u. .

Hi guys and gals, I have been building my new tk suit hopefully to elite status however the helmet i have is of a stunt config, flat green lenses,8 teeth, so on so on,i riveted the holster on to my belt last night without checking the conditions for elite status .I had riveted the belt on with 4 rivets ,like luke wore which i guess would make it a hero belt,or were there some stormtroopers with the 4 rivets aswell,will this affect ANH elite status ,i have used small white rivets so it isnt really noticeable anyway so what i could do is drill the two top rivets out and replace them with the metal coloured ones,either that or i will have to buy a new belt,any advice welcome many thanks colin

Hi guys and gals, I recently bought a second hand AP helmet kit,sadly there were no instructions.I am looking to attach the faceplat to the rest of the helmet but not sure how it is fixed,is it fixed by just the screws in the earpieces or is there also a small rivet at the top of the faceplate hidden underneath the brow trim.I have trawled the forums and cant find any topics on this so any help for this subject and any other possible things i should know about building the kit is greatly appreciated.

Hi Guys, I have recently purchased a MR ce helmet .I removed the standard padding and installed some custom padding.The problem is with the original padding the front and sides of the helmet were resting on my shoulders .I have doubled up the padding on the top of the dome to give it more height but as a result i struggle to see unless i tilt my head forward which takes it back to square one and i cant move my head from side to side as i hits the chestplate.It looks fine if i tilt my head up which would mean the helmet is looking straight forward but then i cant see .Does anyone else have problems with this.Are there smaller helmets i could mabye go for instead. any input greatly appreciated many thanks colin (BINKX02) -----------------
