  1. Thanks for the responses... I had started down the plate/snap but then I started seeing people with the webbing/snap method... I think I know which way I am going to continue...!
  2. When using snaps to attach the webbing to the armor, I am seeing two schools of thought. The first is to attach the snap to a spare piece of ABS and glue it to the armor. The other is attach the snap to a spare piece of webbing, and attach it to the armor irrespective of if it is a single or double attach method. What are the pros and cons of each?
  3. Perfect - that looks like it... I got the idea from someone who did their fans using this method but couldn't remember who or where... Thanks...!
  4. Okay, I added in a couple of fans into my helmet quite a few moons ago and can't recall where the original thread was... Part of the thread was to add a Radio Shack push button into a small black box (IIRC I had to drill a hole in)... I think the box was a connector or something like it... I am trying to find out what it is as I am going to another bucket and need the parts... ----------- Just made it easier to add in the connector and makes it look better than just having the switch hanging out there... Can anyone help? Thanks
  5. Anyone got information on the spring for the cocking handle? It was mentioned that you were planning on doing it but I haven't seen any updates on it...
  6. Does anyone know if the ab plate button details are separate?
  7. That would be my assumption also... I sent Rob an ail about 2 months ago and have not anything yet, so I figured I'd ask around just in case... Thanks
  8. Quick question - On my RT Mod, for some reason, I have smooth ear caps, no bumps... So has anyone checked to see if any ear cap can go on others as I am looking to replace them? Are they pretty much unique? Is it best to get a new set from RT? Thanks

  10. This has been discussed over on the MEPD boards... http://forum.mepd.net/index.php?showtopic=1414&st=40 The filter (I think) is from a Rolls Royce Derwent jet engine... Bits of this engine appear all over the place (IG-88's head and Obi Wan's Lightsaber I believe) so it makes sence that this came from there also...
  11. You missed the "stand back, drink a beer" part in there somewhere...
  12. If you have the Google task bar you can translate it into pigeon english, enough to figure it out... This is pathetic on the part of the dutch police...
  13. Richard Todd (aka WingCo Guy Gibson in the film) also starred in the film The Longest Day... He plyed the role of his own commanding officer (Major Howard) on the Pegasus Bridge attack... and by all accounts actually calls his own name... Sorry, off track... We now return you to your scheduled programming...
  14. Isn't that generally all year Brian?
  15. Actually I think you are too far away Paul, better to get the local Garrison involved - Wow! Wadda you know!! That would be the one I'm in!!!
  16. I used the one that a lot of people mentioned and yes it is the omni-directional one-----------... Should I try to shield it somewhat... Yeh, my girls call me daddy-trooper or Daddy-Fett when I'm in my Boba...
  17. Just a quick question... I put Stompers Hovi-Speakers in my bucket with the RadioShack amp, and get some feedback with it, so what do people do to help reduce/eliminate feedback in their buckets? I'd like to have the ability to increase volume later on so just wondering what others do... Thanks
  18. Hey Wyatt, how big is the opening for your head on an RT mod? Just curious or a comparison between it and an FX bucket...
  19. Hey guys... so far so good... Kav
