  1. Thanks for the great compliments everyone! I'm glad to know I made the right decision with my purchases. Next up is the blaster which I got off eBay. It is a rubber like material with metal accent pieces. There are decals where the LEDs would be. This was an upgrade from a 3d printed blaster which just didn't have enough weight to it and the print lines were visible. Really liking this one! Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
  2. My blaster weighs 1lb 10oz or 752 grams. Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
  3. While we wait for the armor to arrive I uploaded photos from my SE-44C Side-arm build. I also wanted to share the items I've already acquired. I am extremely impressed with the quality of the boots from Imperial Boots and Gloves from Endor Finders. Both feel high quality and fit great and as far as I can tell they are accurate to the current CRL.
  4. Yeah that would be ideal so I could mount it on my holster without being concerned about it. I'll weigh mine when I get some time.
  5. I wanted to share my build of the SE-44C Side-arm from 850 Armorworks. There were visible 3D print lines on the resin pieces, but I did my best to clean them up. Overall I am happy how it turned out, but I am concerned about the weight of the resin on my leg holster. I will most likely try to source a different option and leave this one on display or for photo shoots. I got this around 2017 and put it together in a few months. Any comments or questions I would love to hear them.
  6. This is extremely slick! Love the design and I bet it's really light.
  7. After building a Biker Scout and a Galactic Marine, I figure I'll complete the costuming saga with the TFA Stormtrooper. Seeing the Force Awakens with my 501st friends is an experience I'll never forget. The TKs in the drop ship was an awesome reveal! Need to Order Belt Received TFA Kit - Jimmiroquai Gloves - Endor Finders Boots - Imperial Boots Gaskets + Neck Seal - Geeky Pink Anovos TFA Helmet Accessories Metal thigh holster - R2Dan Z-26 Riot Baton - Amazon SE-44C Side-arm - 850 Armorworks F-11D Blaster Rifle - Anovos produced F-11D replica
  8. I will be painting my kit myself. I learned during the process of building my galactic marine that painting isn't difficult and is actually kind of relaxing for me. It will also save money from paying someone to do it.
  9. You will all be proud to know on this day, 12 years later, I've ordered Jims kit and will begin my journey to become a TFA First Order stormtrooper! I will of course share my journey in a build thread! For the First Order!
