  2. WOW! Lookin' good. The weathering is fabulous and the bucket is on-point!
  3. Can you send me some pics of it please
  4. I should probably let him finish the bucket too. I will show the armor pieces here in a couple of days. I have the waist and belt finished now and just need to touch it up and will post it. Need your coments too, don'tbe shy or afraid of hurting my firlings; this is all for learning. I will be building another clone later, and this will give me valuable learning tools for the next one which will be an EPII First edition clone; all white. This kit will need to be trooped somewhere, so that will be shown in the forum as well. I am working on my TD and the Neyo at the same time, so like I said, it will be at least two more days before I get the good photos here... might try to post some quick ones though...lol :clonetrooper: .
  5. Hey brother tropers, I have decided to start the armor build for Neyo. The bucket is being made for me and I have the pics, so I thought I would share them with all of you. The person making bucket is in california and is a member of the 501st of the clone site. He is sending it to me infinished, so I will paint it and do the rest. The armor which (I) am puting together, is from R2Lass and the belt is from Camino Cloners. I have some semi finished pics to post of the armor a litle later, but I wanted to get the bucket out for everyone see its progress. I am posting some pics and which shows some of the progress. Enjoy. The face of the bucket is removable and held on with magnets Pic to show the two pieces of the bucket Magnet placement inside the bucket My Neyo next to an EPII Phase-I Clone bucket Fresh off the press...lol calves glued waist n belt I will update the thread with the Armor pics when I get back from work this evening. I have the parts completed, so I justhave to take pics and post... Cheers! Thanks.
  6. The clips and pics are beautiful. I would like to build one of those... later, when I have the money..lol
  7. Well, being an Infantryman in the Unite States Army and wearing the TK/TX and other Star Wars costumes, it should be mor of a challenge than it is, but when the nay-sayers realize how much the chicks dig it, they change their minds...lol Show up to a USO event and see how much attention you get from kids and adults alike. They all want pics with ya' and then want to get a set of armor for themselves. I think the new armor for the military will closely resemble the HALO or Star Wars armor anyway. take a look online for Future Soldier... In the end, I just have fun, and I was one of teh people standing in line in 1877 to see the opening of Star Wars IV. So, have fun brother, and be proud of what you feel passionate about.

    Comic Con

Won't be able to make it this year. I will be looking forward to seeing troopers at the Houston museum sleep-over on the 23rd of May though. Free night stay...lol Sleeping in the museum is going to be a blast. Please take some good pics of the Con for all of us unlucky stiffs left behind in the garrison...

    ALL-CON

I will be posting stuff from the Con as it unfolds.
  10. Congrats on being official. Your armor looks great! Now that you have become an official TK, I would say it is time to order the drinks, eh'?
  11. Spotter is a very good idea when there will only be a couple of you trooping. If you connect with campus police, they can give you support, such as possibly offer a radio or channel in case of emergencies. Also, if the University has a science department, you might find the crowd to be more in informed about Star Wars and Storm troopers. However, I have met some kids who have never seen SW and are fascinated by the armor. I know I have had to have "Star Wars" nights at my house to educate some of my teenage daughters friends on the Empire...
  12. I am with you on this brother. I wouldn't buy from there either. However, my advice to Trooper sublime78I, is to buy from a reputable source. Just to let you know, I just receive my new Caboots and they are great. Little smell to them, but nothing that is noticible while you wear them. They look great and get to you in two days. So the advice from the Lt. about Caboots is good. Good luck trooper, and let us know how it goes.
  13. I just got my Caboots and they are absolutely great! I have no regrets. They do have a little smell to them, but that is nothing to be concerned about. If there are those with foot odor, then I would suggest odor eaters and powder no matter what boot you get. But as for me, these will do nicely. No muss, no fuss and got here in two days!
  14. Well, I have been with my wife for 15 years, so we have dinners and movies for V-Day. However, with a relationship like yours, being new, I would think doing something she has mentioned in the past. Women love it when you remember things they said, especially when it is about something romantic or special they wanted. What ever you do, have fun
  15. Well said, boss. Iam with that 100%
  16. I like your work Trooper! I think it will expand our horizons if we bring in the Force Unleashed troopers if they are accepted. We can have squads within the detachmnet. I think this will inspire brotherhood and unity. JMO.
  17. I agree. Stormtroopers went through some changes on the way to all white, so they are also storm troopers, even if they are diferent color paint schemes. I am making a varient myself which is black and white cominiation. I want to show it to some of you when i finish, but it is just a project. I would nit expect something such as my project "quasi trooper" to be acceoted in forums such as this, but I would think it will bring a nice flavor to trooping activities which are not strictly adhearing to protocol. As in the military, there will be the special forces and then the mother-vast-Army. We, the Stormtroopers are the product of an evolution from many different failed or inferior attempts at creating the best soldier. We cannot forget that some Stormies were dirty as well as clean. Dirty troopers are not reserved solely for Ssandies. The clean troopers are normally found on battle stations and not on planet surfaces conducting patrols. JMO.
  18. Roger that, brother trooper Synaptyx! I have thought about building a ROTJ trooper... for a second ...lol I am ANH trooper all the way. Gotta love that grey frown and those colored buttons
  19. Very well then troopers, I am with ya'. I am getting the CaBoots also. Right now I have some boots made into ankle-highs, which resemble army boots with elastic on the sides. They are fine for my "Dirty Trooper TK" which I have deemed as having been in the fight at Kashyyyk, but will never do for the TK I want to present for Elite status. I will post as to the smell etc when they arrive...
  20. Thanks brother. Is there anyting out there good for connecting the waist (sides) to meet elite standards?
  21. I know, it is hard for me to make that look with these legs of mine. I am in the Army and the running and rucking and walking with the body armor make my legs like tree trunks...lol They are one size all the way down pretty much. However, do you think I could get past the elite standard with those thighs the way they are?
  22. Wow! I can't believe this thread is not exploding. If you have access to any of this footage please share it with me, because, I guess i am living under a rock.... I had no clue. This has got to be a joke.
  23. Well, to chime in here, I would have to say that iRobot, Star Trek (Rath of Khan), Saving Private Ryan, Shrek 1,2,3 and Blade Runner.
  24. Roger that. I will post the photo bucket link here after I finish it. There should be pics of the TK build in there too. I have most of it finished so far.
