I don’t know DAProp and it looks like their Etsy store is currently closed, so it is tough to get an idea of their accuracy. make sure to look at this post for vendors we know are trustworthy and produce accurate costumes.

Welcome Nick. I think I can speak for the majority when I say that we were all pretty new to stuff like this when we first started. You will be amazed at the skills you develop making costumes. Always feel free to ask lots of questions and it looks like you are doing your research already which is the first big step that so many skip over. Looking forward to seeing your build.

Hi Brent The barrel looks much better now. I apologize for not catching it earlier, but your hengstler looks to have some significant print lines as well that we will need to be removed. Sometimes lighting or angles on the photo make these more obvious.

Hi Roger. Welcome to the FISD. For a proper costume, you will likely be looking in the $1500 to $2000 range, depending on how much work you want to put into it yourself. As Glen mentioned, research is the key. So many people have just jumped in with 2 feet and found that they paid more for a costume that does not have the desired accuracy. Take your time, look over the above link and figure out which costume you want to do and then go from there. You will find lots of people here happy to assist you along your journey.
