G'day there - new TK recruit from down under
Deployment Officer Team replied to Slouch's topic in New Member Introductions
Hi Chris, As Glen rightly pointed, No visible 3d print lines is a must for EIB. And for the wrist return edge, even though this is a Centurion requirement, we strongly suggest to make the additional cut to get the more accuracy . keep it up ! -
Rogue One TK Centurion Questions?
Deployment Officer Team replied to MikeRadness's topic in FISD Centurion Program
"Hi Mike, and thank you for reaching us for assistance. Your RO armor looks going great, keep it up ! About your inquiry, certainly since the RO TK came to light in 2016 we have seen some small variations from the The Mandalorian , Obi Wan series etc. and we have seen some minor weathering and sometimes a hard weathering like the remanent stormtroopers , That would need a separate CRL by the way. That being said, The weathering for the current Rogue One armor couldn't be allowed not for Basic nor for Higher levels. Each FISD CRL considers what we see on screen most of the time, this is for basic and higher levels too . We don't have and additional level , like the SWAT program on the MEPD Detachment to emulate and specific scene character. "weathering" is something that can be very subjective and in case of not being clearly stated in the CRL ,like the one you're asking for , could carry some confusion for the new applicants. As an example, We have the Heavy weapons Trooper whose CRL clearly specifies "... is lightly scuffed,(battle worn), but not weathered like a Sandtrooper (TD)" Hope this can clear your path Some reference images from current TV shows -
G'day there - new TK recruit from down under
Deployment Officer Team replied to Slouch's topic in New Member Introductions
Hi Chris, With respect to the biceps cover strips, they are a bit thin for the raised edge proportionally but I think the overall look would be better by trimming some of the biceps seam on both the front and the back to bring the raised edges to the coverstrip instead of widening the coverstrips as this would put them out of proportion with the forearm coverstrips. He seems to have enough room on the biceps to make this trim. Glen's advice was correct to shave down the edges to create a flat base. I see you have already done this. I would add the snap behind the one in place. In front may leave too small an area. As Glen mentioned, you could always trim a bit in the front of the armour. Try to get the shoulder bridges more central to the back plate tabs as Glen mentioned. The larger tabs on the back of the shoulder bridges will not affect approval, just overall look. For basic approval, this would be fine, but we would ask for it to be moved at Centurion level approval. -
FOTK forearms with the Finn cut
Deployment Officer Team replied to shashachu's topic in TFA Stormtrooper
Hi Shasha, Short answer, Yes. In the specific case of TFA we have accepted both versions even for L3. Looking forward for your advances. -
Helmet ear angle and TD questions
Deployment Officer Team replied to JBar's topic in Expert Infantry Program
Hi John, Congratulations on joining the ranks and it is great to see you will be trying for Expert Infantry and hopefully Centurion. With respect to the helmet, as Glen mentioned, the Level 3 CRL states “Ideally, placement of ears (and screws) should closely follow the rear angle of the trap above them” As this is a Level 3 (centurion) requirement, it would not affect your EIB application at all. As the CRL states "Ideally", we do not reject applications if they are not perfectly aligned and therefore it will not affect EIB or centurion approval References For the thermal detonator, Ideally the screws should be a bit smaller and not as close to the edge of the clip as they are but I would say that it would still pass based on the CRL description. -
Kagamaru’s Build Thread ANH TK Hero
Deployment Officer Team replied to Kagamaru's topic in ANH Build Threads
Hi Bryan, As Joseph rightly pointed and as the discussion thread you added , even though the Airsoft E11 blaster wouldn't be approvable just as it came out of the box and some modifications would be needed. Our recommendation is that you consider to change the Blaster for another one approvable for higher levels. Sadly we don't have a wide list of vendors for Metal or Rubber Blasters but the Joseph's recommendation is a good choice. -
Kagamaru’s Build Thread ANH TK Hero
Deployment Officer Team replied to Kagamaru's topic in ANH Build Threads
Hi Bryan. Considering the size of your armor's kidney plate, we think the best solution is what @TheSwede says well. Keep up the good work! -
Hi Jonathan. You are right. We have looked at the different options and we believe that the best option is the one you mention (the bottom is more snug to the top of your knee and the ridge is angular). And as Glen rightly pointed out, mobility cuts can help with appearance. However, it is your GML who must approve it at the base level, so before making any modifications, you will have to ask him for his opinion about it. Keep it up Jonathan, you are doing a fantastic job... Congratulations!!!!

Hi Erick, Glad to read you're planning to continue the process towards Centurion Level . Due to your EIB application his 7 years old, and in order to give you the best advice upon the additional requirements to achieve your goal, we would need you to add a new set of photos so we can review the current armor state, How it fits you and in general how it looks. You can post the new photos here, into the Request TK Pre-Approval section or you could submit your Centurion Application and make the requested fixes in it. You can find the required photos HERE .

New Denuo Novo ANH OT Stormtrooper Helmet
Deployment Officer Team replied to TheRascalKing's topic in ANH (Stunt and Hero)
Hi Justin, As you rightly noted , the helmet could be approvable for Basic Level (this is up to the GML) and the items you marked for EIB and Centurion are correct. Regarding the 3rd, bottom ear screw, this is the first time we read that the trim is super glued that you can't see the screw type. This issue will probably have to be corrected before applying for Higher levels. The ear screws alignment (following the rear angle would be ideally preferred) is noted as a suggestion. As a side note: The brow trim lines make it to look rough , this not in stated in the crl (not yet) but could be just mentioned by the D.O. making a review. -
AP Armor Size Help
Deployment Officer Team replied to Commander Code's topic in Assembly, Mods, and Painting
Sorry for delaying trooper. fortunately we the D.O. are not alone having such amazing group of people willing to help and make real our moto "Troopers Helping Troopers" Glad the recommended solutions made the deal !! -
Hi Georgia We apologize for the delay in reviewing your Centurion application, but unfortunately we cannot proceed and get that Centurion badge under your name until all the L3 requirements are met. Please post up the updated photos and we will get right on it! These are the things (as listed in your E.I. review) that need to be corrected so that we can move along.... 1. The corners of the plastic ammo belt shall be trimmed at a 45 degree angle that that meets the outer edge of the cloth belt. Also, drop boxes should be vertically aligned with the end of the ammo belt with minimal gap between belt and box. Reference images 2. The top of the ABS ammo belt should sit at or just above the bottom of the central and vertical abdomen button panels. Reference images 3. The back was overlapping your kidney quite a bit, so it looks like you have lowered the kidney. This has caused the back plate to go too low, covering the upper thighs. The bottom of the back needs to be trimmed (no return edge, like Luke's,). Thus, the back plate can be raised a little and everything will return to its correct place. E.I. app Centurion app Reference image No return edge(Luke´s) 4. In your E.I. app the cover strips on the thighs were perfect. However, in the new app the right one is facing to the side. We need new photos where the cover strip is correctly positioned... E.I. app Centurion app Reference image 5. We also need you to include an updated close-up photo of the of the ab/kidney connection (no belt, and without overlapping ). Something like this... That's all Georgia...We know it's a little extra work, but we're confident that you'll be able to make all these fixes, and thus get the Centurion badge under your name.

Hi again, Jessie! After discussion among the D.O. staff, and because of the lapse (3 years) we need a favor to move you along and get that Centurion badge under your name. Please set aside an hour or so and take all new photos (you can post them on this thread). An updated list of the ones we will need can be found here. The sizes of the ones you posted in 2018 are PERFECT . Many thanks, and we look forward to seeing the new pics so we can get started.
