  1. Totally agree with you! If I had the time, I could tell you dozens of stories were... wait for it... TROOPERS were HELPING TROOPERS! (Hey Tim, Mike and Glen ) We are one big family here!
  2. lol, guys! In Austria, we all sound like Ahnuld.
  3. I, too, like it! Even the hand guards!
  4. I'm using chrome in case you're wondering: Yours (and other I made in the past) are still screen accurate. Not all were thin and "super flexible"
  5. Sorry, I don't get the meaning of those two squares
  6. I'll put the first sets for sale tomorrow!
  7. I forgot: there were some very flat hand guards, without flash, like the sandtrooper guards.
  8. Thank you! You are correct. Furthermore, the paint will go off on the pressure points, enchancing the "effect". But the can still be simulated.
  9. Armor kits usually come with the hard white plastic parts only. This list might help for all the other items. http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/20869-combined-on-going-accessories-listing/ There are many choices of building a blaster, depending on your time and skills
  10. PLEASE HELP ME OUT WITH WORDING, PHRASES AND GRAMMAR as the first post progresses

  13. This is a WIP thread, I'll write it over the next few days. The ANH hand guards were made of latex. Two distinct versions were identified, the standard version (A) and an alternative version (B ). Version A can be seen most often, but version B were worn by Stormtroopers with a so called "stunt helmet. TBC...
  14. Thank you guys! I too overwhelmed with feelings right now to write an answer. There are some other details I'll show you shortly, but I need to takes pics first. . . . .. . . . Now I can finally move on to the neck seal! LOL
  15. Okay, here are some BIG pics. If they're too big, I'll shrink them tomorrow, (and I cant do it right know) but I really like to show off some details. I also leave the pics uncommented until tomorrow (too tired), but in short I can say this "I FOUND (MY) HOLY GRAIL" (meaning I can finally explain/recreate all details found on the hand guards) Looks like the regular version, right? Complete different "interieur" Veeery stretchy, but strong. You can't rip it apart with your hands. The knuckels "carve" themselves in while wearing Bent inward
  16. I have to tease you a little longer ; I need to take better pics (and make another cast or 2) But this I can tell you: It's (mainly) about the knuckle indentions
  17. I do feel complimented Thank you! I can hardly keep my "discovery" to myself. But it's useless without pics.
  18. To avoid confusion: This will be a limited run. And the hand guards are more a prop replica, rather than costume parts. You could say "collector's edition". My regular offers won't be affected.
  19. Thank you everybody for the kind words! Billy, I like your "LIKE"!!! Did you draw it yourself? Here's a little TEASER: the latex "return edge" led me to the SOLUTION of the LAST MYSTERY of the hand guards! More to come tomorow, the paint needs to dry first
  20. Thank you! I found a new way to cast these. It will INCREASE the "return edge" of these. As you can see in the first pic above, they appear to be quite thick, but are actually quite shallow.
  21. Wear them on some troops and they'll weather themselves!
