This is a WIP thread, I'll write it over the next few days. The ANH hand guards were made of latex. Two distinct versions were identified, the standard version (A) and an alternative version (B ). Version A can be seen most often, but version B were worn by Stormtroopers with a so called "stunt helmet. TBC...

Okay, here are some BIG pics. If they're too big, I'll shrink them tomorrow, (and I cant do it right know) but I really like to show off some details. I also leave the pics uncommented until tomorrow (too tired), but in short I can say this "I FOUND (MY) HOLY GRAIL" (meaning I can finally explain/recreate all details found on the hand guards) Looks like the regular version, right? Complete different "interieur" Veeery stretchy, but strong. You can't rip it apart with your hands. The knuckels "carve" themselves in while wearing Bent inward

I have to tease you a little longer ; I need to take better pics (and make another cast or 2) But this I can tell you: It's (mainly) about the knuckle indentions

To avoid confusion: This will be a limited run. And the hand guards are more a prop replica, rather than costume parts. You could say "collector's edition". My regular offers won't be affected.

Thank you! I found a new way to cast these. It will INCREASE the "return edge" of these. As you can see in the first pic above, they appear to be quite thick, but are actually quite shallow.
