Yeah, i mean, the idea is that the body harness will be used to attach the shoulder bells, ab and posterior plate, the "interior waist belt" would be used to keep the thighs in place, and connected with the rest of the harness, kepping everything in the right place as supposed to be. The chest and back plate would be connected by the shoulder straps, connected but "floating free" together, maybe a couple of snaps by keeping the parts aligned if i see that they dont keep in place correctly. I'm sorry if i don't explain myself correctly, i keep trying to improve my english ^^U Thanks for your answer anyway bro!

Hello everyone, i'm planning already everything for my next stormtrooper armor, this time will be a GOOD armor, from a good maker, aiming to centurion level, and as I read at the Commander CRL Fabric or elastic strip connecting chest to back shall be either black or not present. So, as i'm trying to use actually a harness made from elastic, i'm thinking about making one for this next project, to connect shoulder bells(arms), posterior armor, ab armor, also connecting with a belt to attach the thighs, so chest and back armor would be actually free and connected only by shoulder straps. I have been looking for some harnesses here and the one that i think would match better is this one. Do you have any better ideas or some advices? ------------

So, as i see the 1st link photos, normal rivets with the hole are ok for the armor? also, the ear screw are not painted white. at the 2nd link the thigh armor belt has rivets, not glued and not over the lower ridge :/ The 3rd has the same thing as the 2nd with the thigh armor belt. Besides, noone of them has the blue stripe over the brow. I am afraid to say that noone of them answer my questions about the weathering, the not clean lines at the paint, thigh closed on the contrary, or about the shoulder straps comparing with the image references.

Hello everyone, i am actually selling my 2nd TKC armor, 1st was sold by bad personal situation, this one is for getting a new and better armor, a good quality armor on kit to build a new and centurion level commander that can be trully a centurion lvl. I have been watching some of the files from the High Resolution images from this post at the beginning of this forum. 1st of all, there is some things that could be "impossible" to do, like the buttplate that seems to be shorter, but, im wondering about some details trying to find out if i can make a "ingame replica". There is some doubts that i have, and i hope you guys can help me with. 1 - Rear back has blue paint, like, if it was painted over the grey and black lines with blue and cleaned. 2 - All these gray stains over the whole armor. 3 - Thighs looks closed from the inner piece over the outer piece at the back. 4 - Shoulder straps seems to be with a little rounded corners 5 - Blue paint looks coming out of the lines, like no "perfect lined clean paint job", like, not painting with spray or airbrush, instead, using a brush to apply it. Also, flat, satin or shiny paint? and which brand and color would you suggest? 6 - Belt corners looks little weird, like the up side is ok but lower is like rounded? 7 - Also, the thigh armor belt blue paint is not lined with the cover. 8 - what kind of rivets shall be used for belt? I guess i should look at the topics, but i haven't really seen anything. As i want to make a GOOD Stormtrooper Commander, actually even selling the one i just did for me to make another better with a better armor, i have been checking if there could be better things to do to look more like the ingame armor, and found these details. I hope you can guide me if those details are ok to make this "ingame replica" i will try to do. And thanks you for your time reading this post.

Actually, if you watch closely, there is a yellow colour that could be from the glue used around the covers at the biceps, so, after everything you all said above, that's another red flag i guess.

Hello! i just received a couple of tk kits from tk armour and i freaked a little out of me when i saw the kidney and butt parts as they look trully big, first time i'? working with this armor, building it for a 1,62cm tall girl ...i guess i will have to remove a lot ... Any ideas, tips, commentary to help me with this guys? Thanks for your answer bro! About the belt, yea, i think that it should be ok for basic approval. The two black circles are snaps ...maybe should be painted on white to "hide", he's just looking for basic approval. About the blue...the problem is that in my city, Seville, it's pretty difficult to get that tamiya's color, a commander here at spain, at madrid, had it, but montana is one of the best paints at spain, not the best, but one of those, and yeah, i guess i will use the other, the navy blue, it's pretty good with plastic, durable and strong aswell, just too much chafing between the pieces ^^u

Hello there, a friend of mine bought my commander armour, had to sell it because the economy went trully bad...and he's checking everything right now for his approval, still waiting to paint the boots, and we started to talk about the blue color and the belt...the belt material changed from canvas to cordura/nylon, the boxes were changed to white from grey...you know, the CRL changes. This is the belt I had, and i got the approval with it, do you think he will need to change it and make a new one? Also, about the blue, we know there is a "chart" about the blue colors, actually it depends too of the GML, but I painted the armor at first moment with a blue that actually matched the blue color chart of the commanders and the GML said that it doesn't, and made me to change it...after few days looking for other color that i could buy and it would be ok, i found one that actually i still love it, i know it's not 10000000% accurate, but i LOVE how the commander armor looks with it. So, what do you think, will my friend have to change the blue or nope? Also, I will make my own commander again pretty soon, so i would like to know thoughs about the colors and a comparison with other that looks more canon, that i actually like it, but not as much as the Navy Blue, I don't know...maybe it's that is just different and looks, to me, more military style Or maybe the problem will come from the weathering? Actually, I wore it for a whole year a loooot of time, and the whole weathering and battle damage is real battle damage at the paint. The questions on this post are the next ones: Is the belt still approvable? The difference between canvas and cordura is...cordura is a little harder and shiny? Which blue do you think could be better? Even when i know that i love one, the one which i had my approval with, also, I will make another commande on the next weeks...same colour to match together (we also match at first name) or different to be that, different? hmmm....

I know this reply will come trully late, but I just saw this post. By the CRL, you can use a Episode IV and V Luke's graflex Lightsaber style, so yeah, that will work. Also, you can actually build one trully easy, this is the one I made from 2 PVC pipes, the "tongue" at the middle was for the on/off button, it ended being too long, anyway, i kept is that way, just 2 pvc pipes, few screws, a couple of buttons and aluminion pieces, and you can easily get your own Starkiller style lightsaber to carry at your belt.

But...did you used canvas, nylon or cordura? I mean, I had canvas at my stormtrooper commander, but I had to sell it so, actually, I have no suit, but i'm working on it, also, i'm checking on that page and I see no cordura fabric Since the CRL changed, I had to remove the gray from belt boxes, also paint white the straps that goes to the belt boxes, but now we saw that the material from belt changed too, and the guy who has now my stormtrooper commander, has it with canvas... our gml says that it has to be nylon or cordura, and we are thinking about if the canvas belt would be ok for approval or nope, soon I will open a post asking opinions for the blue color of that armour, the weathering and belt material.

Hello there, I would like to know about the change for the belt material, I mean, it was canvas when I made my commander one year ago and now it is nylon/cordura, with a visible pattern...why is that so when it comes from a videogame where the belt is just flat and from a TK regular armour? Just asking, curious guy, to know, because in spain, it's hard to find cordura o nylon fabric on white xD I have been looking for it for a while. Friendly greetings!
