  11. Hi Thomas, I'd recommend plenty of trimming followed by bending! If you take a look at my WIP I had a similar problem as my waist is super skinny too. http://www.ukgarrison.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=126&t=66136&start=15 Be sure to trim both the front and back as equally as you can. Then pour (near) boiling water on the sides and bend to the desired waist shape. In my opinion even if you pad it, it won't look great in the gaps between sections of armour. So better to trim then pad if necessary afterwards. Hope that helps
