Hello all, I have a whole HSP R1TK kit that I've recently begun work on. The first thing I want to check, before I put countless hours into this costume, is will this be worth my time? What I mean by that is I'm a small framed person, 5'8" 165 pounds, and every piece of armor will need to be trimmed to fit me. I'd hate to butcher this up and get something that isn't approvable by the time it fits me. If I can make it work, I'll need help knowing how to trim everything to fit. I'm familiar with Mando builds and done a few different types of helmets but not a TK kit before. Here, for example, is the arm piece. I know I have to trim the sides along my arm but you can see I'll need to shorten the whole piece to match the length of my arm. How much do I take off? Sent from my LM-V600 using Tapatalk

So HSP is making the armor now and looks like 850 is starting on the helmet.

I received my BBB from Head Shot Props over the holiday weekend. Already had my B grade helmet kit from the sale around Easter. Now I've got the armor to go with it! I laid it all out yesterday to see what I've got. This will be my first stormtrooper build and first 501st attempt. I've got experience working on a mando but this will be a whole different adventure! I plan to get: Gloves from Endor Finders Boots from Imperial Boots Undersuit from Jim Tripon (don't know of any other options, especially stateside) Hovi tips and audio system from Ukswrath I'll think about a blaster later, but do want to get one in the future. Holy Cow! Amazing! That's awesome! Looks fantastic! For the boots, what about shoe covers? Lots of costumes have them, you know the pull over kind you wear over combat boots to make them pirate boots. Could you make a set of the foam that go over the sneakers? I know the mandos have the boot armor, like Jango. Maybe that kind of idea, just bigger? You could maybe find some black dress shoes and plastidip/paint the tops white?
