  1. I'm the thinking a nylon strap on the front and back of the bell will keep it right and tight
  2. Just the sides or should I shoot for the front and back?
  3. Alright how does that arm gap look now? I got the spacing between the bicep and forearm down to an inch Only did the left side to make sure it would work first
  4. Back in the saddle again
  5. I believe you want that ridge detail on the bottom of the small button to be shown. With the small amount shown it should be good
  6. I had to make my button smaller and I have a WTF kit
  7. It didn't feel too bad with the compression paints, but we will see after more extensive wear. I did find a small crack on the top under the return edge from my heating. I'll be cutting perpendicular to the crack and hitting it with some epoxy from the inside to keep that sucker in place.
  8. Great minds think alike. I was even going to do two to ensure it had strength and will not pivot on a single snap
  9. Ok so my thought is line 24 snaps inside the bell and bicep with nylon webbing to secure it with the front of the biceps showing. This should drop it down a good 2 inches which will give me close to the 1/2 inch gap.
  10. Right? If I could afford it would make a great lanky wookiee Sweet I'll ditch that hook than. Would you think elastic or nylon for keep them in place? Not sure if I need then to stretch as much as I need them held in place.
  11. Alright looking at fixing my spacing between my biceps and forearms. I believe I have too much of the bicep covered by the bell Here is how it is sitting currently Here is where I propose it to go. Granted this will need a longer hook. Not planning on making the hook that long but maybe an 1/2 to an 1 inch longer. Thoughts? Or was my spacing ok before?
  12. After some hot water bath and a heat gun I think this is about as close as I can get my left calf Thoughts? Do more or for enough?
  13. Did a trial fit to see how everything looks up front. I think the left bell needs to come in a hair. I think the gapping between biceps and forearms are good since I have these long arms. I haven't done the sniper knee just yet as the shins need a bit more hot water bath shaping. I'll be getting some velcro on the belt to ensure it stays in place.
  14. So drop boxes...what's the thickness dimensions? I've seen both 10mm and 15mm in my searching
  15. Belt rivet covers! I trimmed the 3 "buttons" and sanded down to remover the return edge Repeated this for all sides and the remaining "buttons" Slapped some E6000 to the back, centered them over the rivets on the belt and clamped in place
  16. I had great coaches and a support staff
  17. This build is anything but basic
  18. It looks like my buttons are slightly larger than the screen reference. I wasn't sure if I could get much closer but I can always pull it off and give it a go
  19. Thinner second Ab button plate And glued back in place
  20. I literally only have to glue the second Ab button, the three belt buttons, sniper knee, elastic for bicep to forearm, paint Ab buttons and tube vents and finally shape shins so they close better in the back. I just might get approval on May 4th if the force is with me
  21. Showed Walt the pictures and asked about when I got my kit. He is currently sending out updated parts! I never had any doubt in Walt, I just didn't want to bug the guy with something I thought was small time.
  22. I also want to add I did not reach out to Walt to question what the issue was on this I just went ahead and ordered from Trooperbay. Walt has great customer service.
  23. I know LTM had a similar issue with his end caps on his pipe and also ended up ordering from Trooperbay. I think we both ordered our kits around the same time so not sure it it was just a one off or what.
