1. I am sorry to hear that about your mum I hope that she is ok.

Matt
 2. Hi Stephen,

It's looks like it's all coming along well, I'm a bit behind and haven't started a build thread yet. I did start the forearms and biceps but I wanted to ask did you remove the return edge on the bicep completely or did you leave 3mm?.

I removed all return edges on the forearms except a small edge on the outer piece with the dimples to give the armour a thicker look I think it's acceptable for EIB and centurion? The other thing I did was mark up the inner piece swoop I followed the same instructions Yu did so I hope it works.

Matt
 3. Hi Stephen,

I started with the forearms but I must say after seeing your helmet build I'm going start it this weekend it looks awesome. I do have a question that I hope you can answer, when you got your kit did you get pre cut strips of ABS or a large sheet and one small sheet. I got the one large and one small sheet. From what I've read on the FISD all I need is 8x 20mm for legs (shins and thighs) and 8x 15mm for the arms ( forearms and biceps), I emailed RS last week just to make sure but I haven't heard back yet.

Also with the legs how did you find out what are the left and right sides.

I haven't started a build thread on the FISD yet as I am still looking at Christine's and yours and I'm picking up heaps of good tips.

I did get my E6000 the other day in the mail as it's really hard to get here in Australia as I not 100% comfortable using zap a gap yet.

Did you take off the funny lip on the TD control panel before glueing it down.

Matt
 4. My TD is exactly the same and I was thinking the same thing,I'm going to wait as Christine says and finish the belt first before bending it.

I have started the forearms and it's nerve racking making the first cut. I have looked at your pictures and the kits are exactly the same. If I see any issues when I'm on a certain piece I will let you know but I'm going to be slower than you.

Matthew
 5. I did forget to ask, are the magnets rare earth type?
 6. Hi Stephen,
I just received my RS kit in the mail last week and your 100% right they took so much care in packing the kit I was really impressed. I initially was going with another set of armour that I will get later when it's ready but after reading Cristines build I went with RS for my first ever build
## Christine, your build thread has made it to Australia too, I think I have looked at it possibly 10 or so times.
Diana's build thread is good too and would be worth looking up.
I had the same issue with the TD, I just slightly sanded the control panel bottom edge to line it up with the clips. There are a few FISD pointers for this one. Plus I have watched ANH a few times in the past few days to look at them. The top edge with the 'O' has the same little bump as yours.
Can you tell me, what are the left and right forearm pieces? My kit came with no labels or any identifiable marks, except that outside edges with 11 or 12 indents. Also did you see anything about the scoop on the inner forearm pieces.
Matt
 7. Hi all,

I am just in the process of building the ATA helmet and I have found that the right side of the cap has less material to overlap the face if you trim to the markings on the cap and face. My one does overlap enough to fix together and I think the ears will cover the rest, has anyone had this issue too.

Matt
 8. Your 100% not alone there, I'm in the same boat funds, I'm just in the process of ordering an ATA ANH bucket, hopefully I get it sooner rather than later but it looks like a nine month wait on armour.

Matt
 9. Hi Jason,

I have the same question, but glad to see that others had the same question, I was looking at the ATA or Anovos armour and was wondering what the base kit is based one. I am a bit confused but it appears that ANH-S is the better option.

Matt
