  1. Did you put the lenses inside the eye-opening? not sure if it`s my Eyes playing tricks on me...but if so I think you need some new ones I´m afraid....or...be super-patient when trying to fit them, my advice would be to replace, so much easier and there`s a lot of places to buy lenses from, trooperbay is one, he also has turtorials that show how to install them, some buy welding protection lens and cut to size, troopermaster is another source. Here´s a thread about it https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/42659-original-tk-bucket-lenses/ Hope it helps
  2. Easy fixes pretty soon you`ll be doing the TK -
  3. Almost there... One thing though, the rear coverstrip om the right Shin looks a bit long (pic#2) other than that, excellent work
  4. Great work on those shims! and..you are good to go for centurion, keep it up
  5. Welcome back and..either way is fine, personally I prefer pic #1 Here´s some RS reference
  6. Great Pictures and best of luck on approval...here´s to soon beeing a TK
  7. Hey Avi, it`s actually a good thing if the lens has some gap to help reduce fogging of the lens, but if you can post a pic it would help to see what can be done with what you already got
  8. Yeey to first cut! Only downhill from now on No apologies needed, this is your build and one should take as much time as one needs and like Randy said, the pieces don´t line up like you would expect, but no worries, it`s all about the overall look and the odly shaped left forearm won´t be noticable when you dawn the White Armor - awesome feeling by the way however...some reshaping might be needed and the "hot water-bath" is the more common method, some use a heat gun although there´s a greater risk in warping the plastic - you`ve been warned
  9. That´s great! more space to work in and to display your TK and...all kidding aside, congratz to your new "homestead"
  10. Congratz on BBB-day and....regarding the gap, do you mean between kidney-ab? if so I would say don`t give up just yet, some tight strapping and undersuit can work wonders
  11. Great work, see you at Centurion
  12. Thats good advise from Paul, I just assumed you tried the armor pieces on individually and found that the thighs restricted your movement...my bad...so..no cutting before you have identified the areas of concern doing as Paul suggested
  13. Hey Eric, great job on your armor so far and as you said, it`s a bit big on you... I recommend cuting the top of thighs, a little at a time...regarding the sniper knee you could try some foam back of thighs and front of shin (wait for that untill you trimmed the thighs to the right size if you choose to go that route) The kidney and backplate looks a bit big as well, I was lucky to have my armor fit me like a glove without any modifications so I highly recommend you to read this build to help you resize your armor, it´s alot to read but well worth it! Now it`s a bit different since you got the ROTJ with the fused butt/kidney but I´m certain it will be helpful none the less Good luck!
  14. Congratz! Well done And now we´re one step closer to EIB 1000
  15. The white elastic should fix that, as seen on the trooper on the right. A tight knot should do the trick
  16. I voted
  17. You are getting closer and closer and I agree with you about the paint and regarding the return edge there really isn`t any that you can`t trim of if it bothers you...having returns isn´t a requirement in the CRL so it`s up to personal preference...if you aim for Centurion then there can`t be any at the wrist ends of the forearms...so...trim away personally I like to keep as much as possible for that "thick armor look" the chest piece is looking great by the way
  18. Congratz on your armor-arrival good luck with your build, looking forward seeing your progress
  19. If I may..then go for Centurion! It`s a rewarding feeling knowing your TK looking at its best - be all you can be Trooper - and...if you`re a perfectionist..well...then that should be an easy ride Best of luck
  20. And....congratz of getting your TK designation
  21. Looking good, best of luck! Another "Hero" about to join the ranks
