  1. Yup I see that. No number in the black and white a GML must follow on the number of stripes I’m only doing basic due to it not being ROTJ armor. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. There is no number of stripes in the crl for the lines I see what your talking about now [emoji3]. 5 in the screen shot and I used the ANH stickers. [emoji1787] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Very lost at what your referring to. I’ve studied the CRL well and even looked back just now. Please point to what your seeing. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. I kinda missed some uploads lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. this is the paint I’m using that was highly recommend it matches the magma trooper boots from imperial boots well. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Cool Ive built 2 ANH, ESB and a sandtrooper so this ROTJ style is a little weird and I’d like to ask before cutting because you can’t put it back lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. I was just wondering since I seen a centurion ROTJ and the gap was like 2” on both sides. It just seems since the kidney and the butt plate need to be fused together it may help with mobility. I have some good movie screenshots of some ROTJ I’ll just try to get as close to that as I can. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Ok so I have a AM 4.5 kit I’m turning into a shocktrooper. That said I just need some advise on one part. I plan on using some white e-6000 to join the kidney to the butt piece then that’s when I need some advise. I see how the molding goes all along the armor plates of the front and most of the sides. So I’m thinking I can trim it way back and leave a good 2” or so gap between the front and back and not do the clam shell like we do in the OT for ANH & ESB. I don’t see a “gap” specific width so I feel as long as it’s uniform and not ridiculous it can fly. Seems it will be more comfortable as well since we need to join the armors kidney and butt plate. I would love to hear some ideas or people giving advise thank you [emoji4] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. a little E6000 around the rim of the eye socket, bubble lens that come with the AM kit are installed blue painters tape will hold for 24 hours. trimming this kit like I did on my Sandy & ESB. So I’m making a 20mm cover strip. So this means all the leg fronts will be trimmed 10mm on the front edges. Clamp a straight edge down then lightly score about 4 to 5 times with a sharp razor. Then carefully bend and snap it off. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Well by just nocking off the bumps on the back of the helmet face you can have the teeth about 90%. Then just use needle files to clean them up. Then a little warm water will nock off all the shaving. Then if you know of Eric and his wonderful helmet build videos. You to can build a helmet. I use his method 100%. Then I did a lil painting. The vocorder will get touched up with a tooth pick once it dries. I didn’t want to put anyone to sleep with those ears placement your welcome lol. Well that’s enough for tonight. 11. Now to just let it dry. Back at it tomorrow. Here is a question for those seasoned builders. I see the ROTJ doesn’t have a distance requirement for the clam shell we call it. So I’m seeing builds with big gaps and ones with no gap. Can anyone help shed a little light on a guide line? I can trim this however I want so just looking for some guidance. 12. So my journey begins tonight. I am starting with the helmet. Rapid Tac is awesome for putting the decals on. Very simple to use and it’s on Amazon Decals on tonight and painting the inside of the helmet with black plasti dip. It really helps with hiding your eyes Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Does the U molding that goes on the edges have a pebble grain to it or is it smooth? CRL don’t give that detail Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Yeah I’ve been wanting to do this build but info is limited, so I may just be winging it lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Anyone ever see a template or how someone painted the red on the bucket for the shocktrooper? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Ordered!!! Thank you Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. I remember when I did my first build there was a mixture of water/soap you could do that helped to place the sticker on without bubbles or wrinkles. I can’t remember the mixture or find it. Anyone have the info on this ? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Thanks brother Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Looking for info on makers for ROTJ TK. looking into a shocktrooper build in the future. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. I ordered ESB stickers from trooperbay. I didn’t use the ones supplied by AM
  21. As a ESB centurion my self. I went to trooperbay and got my decals from them. I have a AM 2.0 though. He had on trooperbay the option on armor makers and I believe Walt’s is one one them. Hope this helps.
  22. I put foam padding in my forearm to hold it on snug. No elastic from forearm to bicep is needed for me. It helps with the removal of my helmet better. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. You will see I wasn’t steering you wrong. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. You can trim off the bottom part near your elbow if you need to it won’t hurt anything. As stated above also you can shorten the strap that holds the bicep to the bell.
