  1. Forearm pictures have been updated. I sanded them flat to the inside of the forarm.
  2. Will do Tony thanks! I'm guessing right at the end of the bumps... Ill have a new pic posted this afternoon!
  3. I recommend the locktite plastic bonding kit for the latex to gloves works really well and about 7 bucks! Sent from my Nexus 10 using Tapatalk
  4. Nm.. I actually think I see what you mean.. I'll check as well! Sent from my Nexus 10 using Tapatalk
  5. Same photo in both threads [emoji14] Sent from my Nexus 10 using Tapatalk
  6. i think the back is just slightly angled due to my left shoulder sitting higher then the right.. got in a car accident a while ago and its never been the same Ab buttons are likely just the angle and lighting of the picture.. all buttons are hand painted. yeah i realized i missed that in the close up pictures

  8. So pretty much just follow the cut line molded into the armor and I should be fine. I figured it was supposed to be lined up with the butt plate.. Had seen that image before just wasn't sure it it ended up being the new standard <br> Thanks!
  9. So i have made a few adjustments based on what Ukswrath said to get my centurion and the only question i have is the kidney notchs. should i just do the 22 x 22mm cut out or should it be different. here's a pic of the armor just for reference to how the ab kidney and butt line up Thanks in advance for the help!!
  10. Think I'll use the hard plastic with straps and velcro nomex gloves show up tomorrow Sent from my Nexus 10 using Tapatalk
  11. just based on the last full pic the shoulders will need to come in to touch the bridges a little but will pass fine where they stand. you can probably remove some of the return edge on the bottom edge of the shoulder bell to make them fall in more and fit more comfortably.
  12. Home depot also has bags of clamps for like 8 dollars and has various sizes in the bag. I definitely recommend getting the split rivets off the ongoing sales page. I got 2 sets(which was good cause i messed em up a few times) and they are not to expensive.. i think 7 or so for the 2 sets. http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/34902-centurion-level-rivet-sets-for-sale/ super fast shipping and Joseph was good to work with!
  13. definitly loving the lens holders.. I think i may try that out!! looks really good!
  14. Thanks for the EIB! I will work on all the suggestions and be submitting soon! I appreciate the feedback and the time taken!
  15. And ordered! Sent from my Nexus 10 using Tapatalk
  16. I was thinking the nomex and plastic just wasn't sure. Thanks all! Really appreciate the help! THT! Sent from my Nexus 10 using Tapatalk
  17. I keep searching for nomex glove brands for a little less hand heat while in the armor and can't find just a simple black pair.. So I was wondering what everyone else is using and do the latex hand plates glue well to them? Thanks Mike Sent from my Nexus 10 using Tapatalk
  18. Images added to original post. Thanks for taking the time Tony.
  19. Ty guys! hoping to get centurion next! I already have the bug to make another one too!

  21. If Only You Knew: - Lots of research! and when you find things you like bookmark(with a good label) or print it out.. I cant begin to tell you how many times i found myself searching for something i needed in the forums and not being able to find it! - Have patience E6000 is really good for you if you are someone who tends to rush at things.. forces you to go slowly and look and relook at things to make sure they are right -When cutting or sanding..removing material in general -take a little off at a time.. it may take longer but you wont have to redo/shim/patch or just buy new pieces -Have fun with it!! I got frustrated a few times and did have to work on some other projects for a few days to clear my head and refocus Oops!: - when using a sander wear gloves..finger tips tend to sand quickly.. and safety glasses are always a good thing as well. A funny thing happened on my way to the Death Star: -lets just say the 1 piece undersuit zipper and chest hair don't mix well..... Shout Outs: - Thanks to Zv288bot, MoScout and SpiceCredits for their great build threads some words of wisdom and all the pictures they posted - Ukswrath your build thread is laid out so well, and your electronics ideas are inspiring...i haven't soldered this much in years - Thanks to my Girlfriend for getting me a belt sander, band saw and a few other tools i needed along the way!

  24. i was looking at that last week.. Only downside is the 'will start shipping Sept 2017' .. i guess that could be an upside... enough time to do the shore trooper.. then move right into the FOTK!
