You are correct, I edited my post, I meant both. You could get to L3 easy, not much extra work.
-
You did a very good (and fast!) job on your kit, I hope you are working on a blaster and rubber gaskets so we will see you at EIB and beyond.

Yes, I’ll ping someone with admin powers.

Good idea for a 1-piece scope.

You already have active TK status and your email matches what I see for your account. I’m not sure what you are asking?

No knees. That’ll take getting used to.

For my money I’d just get R2Dan’s metal one. Quality is second to none.

Amazing what you can do FX-wise on a 'fan' film these days.

Troopermaster, Walt’s Trooper Factory, AM (I believe?) all sell lens kits separately but I would double-check with them, or you can source dark green acrylic and cut it yourself.

question. What is the little star above the Expert Infantry logo? It's the first time I have seen that.
Additional EIBs. So if you get a 2nd costume EI approved, +1 star, third costume is two stars and so forth. There’s a full rundown here:
-
From the CRL:
”Lenses are flat material, green in color, sufficiently dark enough to obscure the costumer's eyes.”
So, they will need to be green for ANH.

1. Since I am in Sacramento, I would hopefully be apart of the Central California Garrison, but I visit my family quite often in the North Bay, which is GGG area. Would I ever be able to choose events in that area (ex. Santa Rosa Toy Con), or are you only allowed to participate in events in your Garrison area?
GGG invites us to a lot of their events (and vice-versa), but you can always reach out to them directly and let them know you want to troop with them and they can help you out.

I certainly hope it is approvable as it looks so cool.

According to StarWars.com they're going to have Sith Trooper suits. They look... great.

Doesn't surprise me one bit. Looks like I'll be adding a TX designation at some point.

There are a lot more kits that are ANH-S out of the box, for Hero, ESB etcetera you usually have to put in extra work.
Chicken and egg though on if it's more popular leading to the kits being geared that way or vice-versa. -
Welcome! Any questions let us know. I’m in Reno, close-ish, as well, and @TK-42134 is local and can also help you out.

Not a bad idea.

Agreed and more filler or abs paste
Might just see if KB would sell me just forearms, probably an easier solution.

It looks like neither. Thanks Anovos.

That’s what Disney does for their park FOTKs.

Movement is good. Hope I'll see mine this year... getting it done by IX premiere isn't likely but still, one can dream.

Question about Rubies FO TK helmet
in Hard Armor (General Discussion)
Posted
Short answer: No.
Longer Answer: Don’t do it. For the amount of effort it would take to make it 501st approvable it’ll be easier to find an Anovos bucket, I see them go for $200 and under.
