Soooo my first 'Troop' (only wearing the bucket) will be at my upcoming prom (primarily as an end of school gag), but it'll be midsummer at evening, plus it'll be daylight till about 9-10PM in the UK. So I think it may be in line to get some mods, but... I'm still very new to all of this, so what mods (if any) should I consider getting? I'm thinking mics or a fan.

Although I have no current experience, I have seen a few people just packing them in there with no protection. Whether this is a good idea or not is beyond me, but speaking from alternative packing experience (I have travelled quite a bit) as long as you are careful it'll be alright. Well my mum (huge star wars geek, has seen all of them in cinemas) showed me them IV, V, VI, I, II, III and obviously now VII. I would let them watch the prequels, as although I despise them now, I enjoyed them as a child, but definitely after Vader tells Luke he is his father (SPOILER) or even Luke telling Leia they're siblings. Well just watched the 501st documentary on the Rose Parade march in 2007 in honour of the 30th anniversary of star wars, and it got me wondering, are we going to be doing anything for the 40th anniversary?? Like are there any large events besides the premiere of Episode VII? If not should we make one?

Hello FISD! It's me (again lol)! Does anyone know the cheapest way of getting some standard Stormtrooper boots (white, mens ankle boots)? I'm on an extremely tight budget, so the cheapest option would be the best for me! Bear in mind I'm a size 12 (UK).

Hey FISD! I'm a newbie to trooping and I'm slowly gathering my armour. Does anyone know the cheapest way of getting an E-11 blaster (aside from modding a toy)? I'm on a really tight budget, so the cheaper the better (although quality should still be good enough to get into the 501st)

Hey FISD, I'm a newbie round here and hopefully a soon-to-be Stormtrooper in the UK. I was wondering how long ATA take to make/mould their helmets. They said that a plastic delivery was due by last Tuesday and that they would get back to me with payment information when it was made. As you may have figured, I have been waiting for a reply from them for longer than expected. Does anyone know how long they usually take for this sorta thing??
