2. Anovos instructions are downloaded from their site: ----------- Buy a set of lexan scissors, either curved or combo pack w/ curved + straight. It really speeds up cut time vs. exacto knife, less chance of injury and vastly reduces stray cuts. I used the Anovos supplied strapping and just installed snaps on the hook side Velcro and replaced the loops w/ snap plates. Good luck.
 3. Thanks for the update. I picked up an ATA (I think) replacement ab button from a sandie after cutting the flange off mine and it's more white / blue than the Anovos. Will try this weekend, close should be good enough.
 4. Current state, you can see he hairline on the front edge. Discoloration from the polishing compound used on the buff wheel.

I found another ANOVOS plate from the Facebook build group, has the flange but already painted (guy is going sandy). Will try to clean this one up but will use the other if it's in good shape still, can always remove and repaint.
 5. Decided to go the hard route, CA re-glued to the trimmed flashing, filled with abs paste, sanded with 220 dry, 400/800 wet, and drill press buff wheel. Results are promising but not perfect. Cut line is still visible on 2 sides, and some pinholes form incomplete fill by the abs paste. Pic to follow. I'll do another thinner coat of abs to cover the hairline and hopefully fill the pinholes, and another round of sand and polish. Also looking to pick up a spare plate from someone going Sandie, thanks for the explanation btw, makes sense for multiple kit options. Unfortunately can't post in the for sale section yet, guess I need to engage in more threads first.
 6. First build and first issue popping up. I started trimming before reading through ukswrath's excellent build thread:

http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/35086-ukswraths-anovos-tk-build/?p=459804

I ended up cutting the large ab button plate at the edge of the raised area vs. the edge of the plate.

For 501st approval would it be acceptable to adhere to the armor as pictured? Other options would be to re-glue it to the trimmed excess via CA glue, possibly fill w/ abs paste, sand and polish to try again, or try to find a replacement.

Any suggestions? Also curious why the buttons would be separate parts and not included in the ab plate detailing when pulled.
