1. I used E-6000 to glue the caps on. I wish I hadn't now because they fit perfectly without them. I just decided to because I figured I was done and they'd be secure for sure.
2. I have my tab and slot cut out and measured. I have the slot ends drying right now also. Later this evening I'll be gluing both pieces to the ab and kideny respectively. The tab measures 3 ⅞ " and allows just enough room for the top elastic and a bottom. The slot allows for the tab to slide in tightly with 3/4" on either side to be glued to the ab. The slot will be glued to the kideny as it's the part that needs to be brought it. Wish me luck!!

I'll be adding two to the rivet side tomorrow after I see how well this works on the right side.
3. Awesome! I'm gonna be doing this today. I like that you put two littler ones on the rivet side. I was thinking about adding the same thing last night. I'm gonna try it also now, plus the larger one on the right side. Thanks!!
4. I'm thinking of bending the ends of the kidney plate in a little with hot water. It seems like the issue is just that the kidney is wider than the ab where they meet. If that can save me some rework then that would be awesome. I'm gonna pull them in slightly and see if that helps a little I think. Gonna sit on the idea for part of the day first.
5. I feel like that will keep them flush and not shift around either.
6. I'm curious to how well that will work! Are you thinking of doing that over the slot? I'm going to try another time with the slot and see how that goes. I won't need to buy any extra materials, so it's worth the try to give it a shot first.
7. I know when I tried my double double snap on it was a little tough to get them to snap, but I got it done. It's sort of a pain, but it's managable. I have small hands though, so it may have been easier for me to get in there and snap them. I started from the bottom one and moved up.
8. Yup. That's what I did too, and it's still wonky. Weird how it works for some an not others. Lol mine are right at the edge as close as they can go. Maybe 3-4mm or so from the edge. Still nada. Lol I'm definitely doing the slot later today.
9. Nice! I'm going to remove my middle double snap and put one of these in its place, covering middle area also. That way I have double snap on bottom, slot in the middle, and top single snap. That way I don't have to remove all my snaps. Lol I'll be starting on this evening. Got a con to attend during the day!
10. Ok, so I found some that have the same issue and they passed Centurion, so if worse comes to worse I can still pass with that and always continue to work on it. Funny thing is some guys don't have near the same support that mine does there and theirs sets perfectly. Ugh. lolol I wonder if a long strip of velcro along the inside seam would keep it secure?? Maybe have nylon webbing overlap the velcro? Has anyone seen this done?
11. I'm thinking of reworking it the way Luc did his. Just not sure if it's worth trying or not.
12. I was wondering if someone else tightened the belt if it would help, but I thought I had it pretty tight.
13. Why doesn't it want to work? Lol I'm a little annoyed at it, but I also feel like I've seen some centurion passes with the same issue... May be wrong though. I still want it to set right for my own peace of mind, but I sorta feel like I'd be willing to let it slide. It's such a hassle.

I have two double snapped nylon webbing there, plus a single snap elastic making the outer snap functional. They couldn't be any tighter and it still doesn't work. Idk. I really don't want to spend a thousand hours reworking it if it's going to just look that way.

I really thought that would fix it. It's definitely better, but not perfect.
14. Ok, so here's my progress for the day. I still need to add the shoulder straps, the elastic band to hold them down, and finish the straps that hold the chest to ab. I'll do those tomorrow. I haven't eaten all day since I've ben doing this and I'm starving. I still can't seem to get that pesky right-side to sit flush. However it may just be that I need help putting the armor on. lolol That was way difficult to do by myself! Also still need to add the hooks on the biceps. What do you guys think so far? (Keep in mind the chest isn't attached to the ab yet...that's why it's shifting around) This was as close as I could get doing it all on my own and including the helmet. lolol I tried with it on, but the pics turned out horrible.
15. I think the chest sounds solid. It would be fairly easy to access also I think.
16. Thanks! I thought it would take a little longer than it did. Now I can start threading some elastic! That's a sweet idea! I'll probably end up doing the same! I think the holster is a pretty good idea. I like the forearm idea too, but I wonder if that would cause one arm to hang lower? Maybe inside the ab? or chest? Ab seems like it would be solid. OR... attached to the garter that holds the thighs??
17. Belt pics coming in a sec. Just about finished attaching the holster with tan straps. That was way easy. Plus! I got free throw away samples to use from Tandy so I didn't have to spend a dime!
18. I'm close, but I still have legs to fit and assemble. I just got some leather to replace the straps on the holster, so I'm about to finish my belt today. As soon as that's done I need to start making elastic straps for the arms. I'm hoping to be done by next weekend.

I'm making everything in mine detachable. Mainly just incase I need to resize for whatever reason. Where are you storing phone and keys in your forearm? I was thinking of just getting one of those zipper pocket things that go around your neck. I didn't make my drop boxes to where they open either. That seemed too risky to hold anything in to me.
19. I've got the remainder of my snap plates drying now. Tomorrow is hand threading elastic and putting in the female snaps. I just may have the torso and arms complete by this weekend!
20. Do you think this will work with glued caps?
21. I'm gonna have to replace my TD screws too. I used the ones that came with mine also, but they aren't the slotted ones. I glued the caps on the ends on thinking I was done and I can't get them back off either. I'm leaving that last because I have no idea what to do right now with that. I'm sorta hoping that if I unscrew them long enough that they'll remove themselves from the nut inside the tube, then I'll take off the clips, drill a hole big enough in between the screw holes, let the nut fall out, then put in the correct screws and drench them in E-6000 as I put them back in and hope that holds well. LOL Could you just paint yours black after adjusting your clips?
22. I was worried about that too! lol Luckily mine worked out well the first time too! Whew! I was sorta sweating it. lol
23. Ok, belt is officially attached to the ab plate! Yay! I also went ahead and added the brass cod rivet since I decided I'll be adding a snap plate for that area this weekend. I should have my webbing order in tomorrow. I'll be reworking the right-side ab/kidney seam, getting the arms strapped together, the cod strapped and chest/ab strapped as well. I'll probably go ahead and add shoulder straps and the elastic bands if I can fit that in. Oh, and holster strips added and attaching it to the belt also. Now that I look back, I'm not sure how much I'll actually get done, but I hope to get most of that done with the 3-day weekend. These are a little blurry, sorry.
