1. Yea?? Thanks! I really appreciate that! Just trying to keep up with y'all! lol
2. Ok… The moment we've all been waiting for! lol Here are my submission photos that I am sending immediately after posting this. I hope my armor does the FISD, and my fellow troopers proud. It's been a long journey and at times I thought I'd never be finished. I learned a lot, I grunted a lot, but most importantly… I made it through without a single cut. Whew! Putting this armor together, along with the research, has given me a deeper appreciation for the design of the stormtrooper. I had a great time building it, and I "met" some really cool and helpful people along the way. Thanks to all my fellow troopers who have given me advice and helped me make this the best armor I could make. Special thanks goes to Lucnak, MoSc0ut, zv288bot, Pyrates, and Sentry71—I really appreciate all your help and thanks for sticking around! I'll continue to post any changes I make in the future. I still need to fix TD screws for Centurion, add iComm and Aker, add fans to helmet and I think I'll be adding hard hat liner in the helmet also. I'm also probably going to add some bicep foam and trimming the backs of the thighs and shins for movement. I'll be adding EIB and Centurion thread links…once I get there. I still need a blaster too. lol But!… For now. Here are my basic approval photos!
3. Photos being posted within the hour.
4. Seriously. lol I think it's happening in a few though.
5. I am, but I'm contemplating removing them maybe. I think the velcro on the boots may be enough. Plus it's kinda tough to get them to stay in place when putting the boots on! I'll probably leave them for now and see how I feel about it down the road. I was thinking of sewing another piece of elastic to the bottoms of the stirrups to slide my foot into to keep them from wanting to slide off my foot as I am putting the boots on. Also… who didn't cross their fingers?? It's pouring so hard right now. Photos may have to wait again (UGH!) if it doesn't let up by 5.
6. So, I brought my armor to work today to get some shots for my submission. I'll post them this evening once I get home. That is of course that it doesn't rain later...Fingers crossed!
7. Thanks Luc! I went ahead and attached foam to the left shin to push out the plate a little more.

I should be having submission photos early this week. I planned on getting them this weekend, but everyone was out of town that could take photos. I promise they're coming!
8. Foam came in today! New pics coming this weekend.
9. Thanks for the advice! I'll definitely give the rear a look as well! The foam shipped already, so I should have that soon. New pics to follow!
10. I just put on my compression pants, boots and right shin. It stays straight even after jogging around the apartment. It stayed secure and upright. I couldn't tell any awkward movement either. Once my left shin dries over night I think the shins will be solved and I'll retake photos tomorrow. I still think the foam will help a little, but that (Velcro on boots) seemed to fix a lot of the problem.
11. I'll have to get back to you tomorrow on that one. I haven't put them on since I added the Velcro to the boots. I was waiting for a piece of my shin to glue over night before trying again. I may put one on later just to see though. I'm only gluing on shin.
12. Ok, so here is my first full try-on of everything. I had to put it all on and use the timer on my phone's camera to get these. lol The shins aren't staying super aligned even with the stirrups added. So I added a bit of velcro to the fronts and backs of the boots and the respective places inside the shins to keep them center more. However, I haven't tried them back on with those fixes yet. I had to do some glue fixing to one of the tabs on my left shin. I think that should hold it well though. Thoughts???? Other than that, I feel like it looks pretty good. I think it's just getting the thighs and shins sitting well. I think some foam would help too. What do you guys think?? Feedback would be greatly appreciated! Also I just noticed from the left profile view, it looks like my shoulder bell could have been aligned better to the bicep. I think that's why I show a little more gap between the bell and chest plate on the front-facing photo. I should have adjusted before taking the photo. I'll fix that next time. I feel like maybe the right thigh is a little lower set and that's why there is more gap at the rear than the left shows. Thoughts? Also the back part of my helmet trim came off in my rush to get set up for the shots. lol Here is what I did with the velcro to keep the shins in place better. Back of boot: Inside back of shin: Front of boot: Inside front of shin: P.S. Man there is a lot of sounds of plastic knocking around when I walk in it. lol
13. Thanks! Actually, I didn't have any issues with them at all. I had more issues with snap than these. lol
14. At last, the final piece to the build is complete! Mwah ha ha ha haaaaaa…I'm letting the paint dry over night and then trying it on and double checking the fit tomorrow. I should have submission pics to show you guys early next week, I believe. Until then, I'll snap some shots tomorrow of me with it all on. These are double cap rivets purchased from justjoseph63. I also put a dab of E-6000 where the ammo pack touches the bottom of the ridge of the thigh to keep it in place more. And with paint…
15. Incase I didn't mention before... I'll be posting more this weekend once I get to Tandy to pick up the setter for my rivets to install the ammo pack on the right thigh.
16. Baldormoline, I got my neck seal through Darman from visiting his Facebook page and messaging him there. He responds pretty quickly. https://www.facebook.com/darmanprops/?fref=ts
17. I hear ya! lol As much as I've enjoyed the whole thing, it is a money pit! lol
18. Lolol Not inappropriate at all. Now, "purr your thighs" would be a different story. Yep, it's Pencap's! I like it a lot so far. I haven't done much walking around in it, so who knows later down the road, but so far it's solid.
19. I'll be adding stirrups to the shins tonight and adding the velcro to the latches I made last night. I'll be going to Tandy to get the setter for the ammo pack on Saturday and then finishing off the build with that. I should be taking my submission photos on Sunday or within a few days of that.
