    Yeah ,, i see what your saying. ill post anther picture when i get both side painted and the logo on it... Ive got my cnc doing both sharp and the radius profile.. It will give it a sense of reality....LOL The paint adds to the radius too.... hard to control

    They used a really nice blk oxide im sure... most of my screws are the same.

    Ive had a few people ask about the paint on the ends .The paint I use on the metalmites is a custom mix latex ,,, i has a real rubber look to it ....

    Version3 Henry,,, keep in mind these are the 5mm like Andy does not the fatter ones like you have .( I should make the bigger ones too, they look great) This is just the first side, im going to change the radius on side two to be more like the randomness of the hand made originals we have..

    Good pictures Henry ,,,, ill try to make some like this ... Notice the hand crimped ends on the vintage . .No two the same . Ill do a new batch and make each end different.. That will give them a sense randomhandmadeness......LOL

    Yep i was afraid of that lol That screw is not made anymore from what i can tell.... Maybe i can make them... Ill get a guy i know that has a swiss screw machine and see what he thinks about reproducing them.. You could use them in your production scopes too...

    Started getting my casting in... these are raw.. They will get a few minutes in the tumbler to remove the casting bosses. Then im going to try plating them.

    SlyFox740 pointed out something i was unaware of!! the Hengstler Counter rear zinc housing came in the natural zinc color and older ones had a gold chromatic plating... Check it out

    Spent some time today welding some power cylinder brackets.....First step after laser cutting is Tig welding /grinding /deburring and then off to the zinc plating tanks..

    These mounting screws ? The vintage ones have cheese head screw ... I have found some that use hex wrenches
