  1. Got another m19 off of ebay ,,, it showed up today! Great shape with nearly perfect optics
  2. I need to make tool box with these special tooling ,, checkering and a tool to take scopes apart LOL
  3. The two have diff patterns..... I used a cnc grinder and 20 misattempts!@#$%^&&**&**... Checkering is a art form and it took a lot of trail and error.... I have found that there is several different patterns over the years of manufacturing the sterling...(of course , but this one i have chosen seems to be the most prevalent ) LOL and of course ive made one for the sight guard !!!!!

  7. Was working with a FX company in Atlanta today , they are using some of my Launchers in a new movie.. The" FX GUY" was modifying the outside appearance and kept using the word ā€œNerneyā€ I finally ask what that meant , He said when he works in europe they call them ā€œGreebsā€ Hollywood calls them Nerny... Michael , those Greebs /nernys on those blasters are very well done.. Did you make those mounts for the scopes?
  8. I sacrificed a real one to get the closest dimension I could ,before and after the bends.
  9. Did some more work on the stock parts today,,, next step is making a test die to bend this thing

  12. I think i can machine the shape of the flash hider pretty easily,,, But that old stamped and folded wing nut is going to be a pain (slave Leia)
  13. Great PICs,,, is that your mauser? Your right i'm having no luck in the correct scope dept when it comes to the dl44 . what model is that?
  14. Yeah finding a original mg81 flash hider is a daunting task.... im sure very few made it to the states.... The grease gun flash hider wasn't used very much and was not made with the same quality as the mg 81. This one has been kept clean and dry I bet most have rusted away. You do not see a lot of pictures of the grease gun using the flash hider.. Every mg81 had one
  15. The first one is from a WW2 grease gun,,, it is very rare and was used on the Hans dl44 Greedo killer

  18. Main sterling stock rail,,,, fresh off the laser cutter. I have done the first one in steel to test with
  19. Started the shoulder plate on the stock assembly today 1st operation,, Going to be A LOT OF PROFILE MACHINING
  20. Yes, ive done one i have,,, there so thin that when i crimp them it spits of creases funny ... I may need to get the same durometer plugs maybe that will help
  21. Im still studying ways to actually crimp the ends like the original , its not as easy as it sounds .. in fact every method ive researched does not get the same results.... I am still looking for whatever technique they used...
