First Order TK Undersuit different from Original TK?
Quothcorvus replied to JTR555's topic in TFA Stormtrooper
I've got the Extreme Racing undersuit as well and so far have not had any problems with peeling (this is the screen accurate one)- its quite thick and "snug" if you go for your size according to their charts. It feels a little short in the body. Also as stated its only the "shorts" area on show, everything else is covered by gaskets and armour. -
Yep, the gloves are black versions of the FOTK ones.

TFA First Order Trooper (research and build)
Quothcorvus replied to MaxSW's topic in TFA Build Threads
If you are wanting gaskets from Imperial Gaskets, I would suggest getting in touch with them and getting on the list. They are very good, and very popular, I think I was on the list about 4 months before I got to the top. You will be asked for payment only when your order is ready for posting. -
Almost there.... almost there! Tony, both myself and Dave are having all the armour painted at the same place. Hoping mines gonna be ready too as we are planning on final detailing and clearance piccies on Sunday!

With my first order kit, the total value I paid for the kit was declared over the four packages I received from ANOVOS, so you will not get overcharged. If you are looking at avoiding paying tax on an item, its somewhat straying into illegality- not necessarily the best discussion to be had on a public forum! The last package I received from ANOVOS had a delared cost of $50, which was the neck seal, but had to pay £25, most of which was a handling charge. There seems to be no rythm or reason to it, I paid £80 less duty on the helmet than my mate Dave did on his (both from ANOVOS, both declared at a value of $700) whilst I paid £40 more for the armour. Unfortunately nowadays, everything over a value of £20 has a charge attached. When I started this hobby 11 years ago there was a good chance of not picking any charge up on its way through unless there was a significant value attached. Customs charges into the UK are all over the place, it depends on what the item is, where its from, what its made off etc. What I find annoying is having to pay a handling charge for each item that goes through customs. Isnt that what POSTAGE charges are for!?

It states "Just to add these arent made by me but by a friend" which would suggest its not re-seling a previously bought item. I'll ask around to see if anyone knows anything about Furry Props. They dont look like they have been going very long (Dec 2015). Would Disney or ANOVOS issue C&D against ulicenced producers? I know Lucusfilm generally turned a blind eye to the smaller maunfacturers of prop armour, but didnt know whether Disney or ANOVOS have a similar atitude?

Hand Made First Order TK

The downside of abs is vac formed armour is softer on detail compared to resin or fibreglass. -
Anovos TFA FN Stormtrooper Helmet Thoughts?
Quothcorvus replied to cjdesign's topic in TFA Stormtrooper
Keep hastling them Bryan, eventually they will get fed up with you and reply! As and when they reply, and agree to send a replacement helmet, get them to mark it as "returned for repair"- you shouldnt then get an additional customs charge.
