  1. Wow!!! Absolutely stunning!!! Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  2. Thanks Clint for the great thread! This has been quite the process but very glad it's finally settled. I think Peter has no clue where his molds are coming from, that's my guess. Why would you willing send recast parts out for comparison with the originals?? Doesn't make sense. It's a bit relieving to see this come to an end and the community get pulled back together a bit. This was a very heated situation so now everyone can sleep a little easier..
  3. Beautiful work!!!! Totally digging it! Definitely in for a kit once I source the soft parts!
  4. Respectfully, if you just show all the molds, possibly with measurements, then maybe this whole thing would be more easily settled. Just my view as a consumer
  5. SICK!!! Let me know if/when you make snowy armor!! ;D Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N910A using Tapatalk
  6. Ooh!! I'd be down!! Even if it's only for the file!! Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N910A using Tapatalk
  7. Ahh, makes much more sense. Thanks! As you can tell I'm new to most of the TK stuff, especially the new ones. Been focused on Boba Fett over on TDH for 5 years... gotta expand my horizons lol Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N910A using Tapatalk
  8. Nice! Looks like I know what I'll use...lol I cant believe how the closed cell held up. How would one get the grooves into the neoprene ? Without damaging it? Is it easy enough to work with? I'd almost think closed cell is easier to work with, but clearly not as durable Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N910A using Tapatalk

  10. I have to agree with the above from netslave. On basically all of it, but especially that I think these are solely action scene suits. In the originals the most movement we really got in ANH was some "falling" (or laying down with style ), and some walking and easy jogging. In this it seems we're getting a lot more running, bending , flexing , twisting and stuntman work. So for that I think it makes sense. Do they look fantastic? No, but they look good besides the mobility splits imo. I still think we'll see fully kitted TKs with appropriate armor and I don't know about the rest of you out there, but I'm PSYCHED for that desert tank trooper thing lol those guys look sick! That was just my 2 cents Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N910A using Tapatalk
  11. Awesome news! Thanks! I was actually just about to try to find the owner and ask!! The soles to me look the same as or very similar to the TK so I figured they'd be the ones to help out. I'll have to check out that FB link too. Thanks! Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N910A using Tapatalk
  12. INCREDIBLE FIND!!! Gloves identified thanks to you sir!! British MTP Lightweight (Warm Weather/Desert) Combat Gloves 1st post will be updated with new resources Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N910A using Tapatalk
  13. Awesome!! I'll have to try that when I get my fiberglass in! Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N910A using Tapatalk
  14. Awesome! What white did you use? The black looks great especially for hand paint! Thanks for sharing! Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N910A using Tapatalk

  16. Thanks for the info! I'll look into it do you have a link to those gloves by chance? And maybe to "wampa wear"? Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N910A using Tapatalk
  17. Yep, Crow props is who I've been communicating with. Seems like I'll be going with theirs at this point. Seems accurate and it's made to custom sizing so seems pretty much as close as we can get right now. Thanks! Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N910A using Tapatalk
  18. [THIS POST CONTAINS UP-TO-DATE RESOURCES FOR THE TFA TIE PILOT] Hello everyone! I've got a TFA Snowtrooper build on pause, so in the meantime I'm working on aquiring tie pilot gear. Does anyone know of makers of the flightsuit and gloves? These are the hardest to find and the flightsuit is next to impossible for an inexperienced tailor to make. I saw someone on Etsy had suits for $200 and they looked decent at least. But may be too risky to try out at that price tag. I'm assuming the boots were probably pre manufactured like the snowtrooper boots and they just bought a bunch of pairs. Any help would be tremendous! Thanks, Gav **CURRENTLY KNOWN RESOURCES** >>Helmet -Animefan (RPF) *FOR SALE/Incredibly clean casts; to include hoses and boxes in the near future* -Jimmiroquai (RPF/FISD) *being cleaned, molded and cast. Either for sale now or very soon* -Thorssoli (RPF) *being molded and tested* >>Armor -Jimmiroquai (RPF/FISD) -Animefan (RPF) *unconfirmed/being tested* -Thorssoli (RPF) *confirmed/being tested* >>Flightsuit -Jimmiroquai (RPF/FISD) ~$175+ ship from Philippines , made to order and professionally tailored. Includes most if not all accurate details of the real suits. -Crowprops (Etsy) ~$200, made to order and tailored to your size. Seems very accurate and made out of a breathable material >>Sidearm -3d print files for the new TFA Pistol can be found (until copied here) in the TFA FO TK Resource thread on the FISD >>Gloves (FOUND PART) -British Army Soft Leather MTP Lightweight/Warm Weather Combat Gloves [as of now these can be found on ebay.co.uk from various sellers in various sizes. NEED TO DYE BLACK] -ImperialBoots (combo with boots) >>Boots -ImperialBoots Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N910A using Tapatalk
  19. It's just through the forum, but b he's very prompt. I'm sure you can get on an interest list for the next run or 3rd run without money down and if you need more time he'll push you further down. He's really great to deal with Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N910A using Tapatalk
  20. PM incoming... Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N910A using Tapatalk
  21. Yeah Jims is the flexible fiberglass and is $800 I believe. He's updating his armor to be even more accurate (though he is already 501st with that kit). I would message him after January 3rd, I think he's away till then. Definitely worth looking into as it's a little over half the cost of the next cheapest kit Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N910A using Tapatalk
  22. I'll pm you Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N910A using Tapatalk
  23. No I wish I did. I forget what it was based on but someone in the 501st gave that estimate. Personally id like a definite answer. Is assume if Animefan is selling his for 1400 anovos can no way be cheaper than that Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N910A using Tapatalk
  24. Yeah tell me about it. But it's new, fresh, and off of screen used resources. So there ya go. But I don't think it needs paint, as it's vaformed. I could be wrong. I didn't have the test armor like guys in the 501st. Still, you could get an $800/900 kit from jim, test it, if you don't like it return it or sell it off as opposed to dropping close to $2000. Again though, just going based off of what I've heard. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N910A using Tapatalk
  25. I think considering the anovos line is rumored to be $1800-2000 usd for a KIT, Jims is a solid deal. He is also editing the sculpts so if you wait a couple of months his kit will be closer to the anovos since he's seen them up close Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N910A using Tapatalk
