  2. I have 2 myself I am doing a mod on... Took them apart and then cut the rails and such so that the open areas are open.. After paint,I think I will glue and screw them back together as they stripped a few screws.. The magazine will come out with some work for paint as well.. Barclay
  3. I personally have never seen one myself, but that does not mean anything... Maybe it is something that you will need to build yourself
  4. Still looking for a coupon code... I had passed mine along awhile ago, and decided that I need the Shadow Trooper kit as well... So if you have one, please pm me. Thankyou Barclay
  5. Yep.. 10% discount code comes after an order.. We have been passing them on to other folks to get their TK kit... They are good for about a month or so after your order.. Figure that there has to be a number of codes not being used, hence my asking for one. Please PM me a code if you have one. Thanks Barclay
  6. Yep.. Should work on any product they have.. Barclay
  7. I think I am going to jump on the Shadow Trooper deal for next spring.. Give me a 2nd build to work on after my TK build.. Anyone have a 10% off code they want to share? Please PM me.. Thanks Barclay
  8. This seems like a good prep prodject while waiting for the big brown box... I count 29 needed snap plates.. Sound about right? Barclay
  9. Ok..I was wondering as when I went and looked at a few centurion builds they had straight alinement.... But now I see some arcing and some a little off... While I love Star Wars, in no way do I claim to be a TK expert... Just learning what I can while waiting on my big brown box
  10. That's the best look so far as to what we all have been wondering about since day one.... Good to see some non-promo photos Is it just me, or are the Ab buttons not in a straight line?
  11. Every order gets a 10percent discount code... Pass it on, and ask for one when you are ready to order something again.
  12. The kit arrived safe and sound... Will post pics soon when I start the build log... Thankyou once again, and congrats again as well...
  13. Cool.. Thanks... Seems like the glued the hell out of it to get it in... Just did not want to break it to bad trying to get it out.
  14. Got my two today, and have started taking the first one apart.. Any hints on getting the mag out without destroying it? Seems st getting it out would make it easier to cut the rail void out. Will take some pics and post my own build as I am able.. B-
  15. And the excitement builds as I track it's progress towards me....
  16. The TK set up is an unknown, as none have been produced yet. All of us who have ordered them pretty much did so because of the price break, and the belief that we will only have minimal modifications to do with the suit... It is my first set up as well, and I have high hopes due to the quality of other pieces that ey have... So no clue until this winter on if e gear will be great, decent, or a POS.... It's a risk, but one that I am willing to take. B-
  17. I am one of the folks who pre-ordered, and this will be my first kit.. Now I know it is an unknown and may not be 501st aproved without mods, but I also know that the other products they have put out in the past have been good quality... Along with that, and that they were the chosen maker for the new TK's kits that walked out on stage at celebration, I felt that it was well worth the risk of the preorder... Worse case, I save up and buy another kit from an established maker and have a suit to put up for display... But if nothing else, it will teach me what I need to know in building a kit.. B-
  18. Other then buying them online, what store carries these? I have checked a number of stores in my area, and have not seen one of these yet.. Just wondering... B-
  19. Congrats from my wife and I.... Pm sent with info Totaly worth it to see my wife jumping with joy over guessing the right date for a helm... (and for those wondering, I went with the Gino) B-
  20. For the price, it's worth whatever mods that are going to be needed to meet 501st standards... The initial cost is part of what has kept me from taking a plunge into trooping, but put two kits on order (one for me and one for my wife) ... We are looking forward to the build and getting out in gear..
