  1. That is a pic of my buddy Jeff's armor (Tampa Bay Squad).  Here is another (although I forget who's it is, lol).

I was finally able to get into Ukwraths build thread and saw how the ab and kidney plates are riveted together on the left side. Thank you all for the pics and help.

Well, I suited up with my new under suit pieces. I have got a lot of work to do. I’m going to make straps that will hold my thighs up with a belt, my shoulder bells were not attached to straps so they are loose, my arms need some tweaking. And the abdomen and chest plate have the gap. I have been searching through the EIB applications, and found one guy that was close to my build, but he submitted for a Rogue One TK with RT-Mod Armor. I’ll do more homework.

  3. I’d probably check out the “advanced tactics” section for EIB and Centurion applications. Each thread title shows the maker so you’ll be able to find the Anovos ones with ease.
Then, the beginning of each thread shows the applicant’s height and weight etc. You should be able to find people of similar build and then see how the armour looks and how they achieved it. :-)

Thank you for the tip. I will look into it.

  4. Tapatalk is an easy way to upload to here.

Ideally, more pics will help us to get an idea of how the butt and kidney are sitting relative to the back plate. :-)

Just downloaded the app. Here’s a pic of the back plate, but the kidney plate is not in the picture. You can see where the back plate is on my back though.65935c8a1183bcf5ee1df9d9c17f64c2.jpg

That what it would look like if I were to lower it.

  5. I attached my Chest plate and back plate with elastic straps last night. My wife noticed that there would be a fairly large gap between the kidney plate and back plate. Will I have to shim that gap. I could close it a bit by make the straps a little longer but the undersuit would still be visible. The attached image is what it looked like before I was thinking to lengthen the straps. Thanks in advance for the input.

  6. I’m glad I found this. I am gluing my last forearm together and noticed the glue squeezed out in some spots under the cover strip, and a little bit was still coming out of the tube as I was pulling the tube away, and got on some spots on the forearm. I was a little nervous as I read on another board that E-6000 has a chemical that melts plastic. Is that true?

  7. I took the plunge and just ordered mine. Looking into boots and a blaster. It would be great if Anovos would produce both, and make it easier for us, but.....that would be too easy. I'm a little nervous about building it on my own, but I have a few friends, one of which is in the 501st, that may get this kit and we can all learn together. It will be an adventure, that's for sure.

  8. I am 6'2". I am 95% sure I'd like to preorder this Armor. But if the guys at Avonos say that 6'1" is the max, is it worth still trying out? How much modifications would I have to do to make it right for me to wear? Ive been researching armor and it is giving me a headache, and figured that the Avonos Armor was the way to go.
