I was thinking that one would be nice since it is a little lighter than a regular jacket. I live in Northern California so, like your region, it doesn’t get too cold (except last night LOL).

Hello Troopers,
I was looking at a Jacket that I could put my 501st, Garrison, and FISD patches on. What do you guys use? I was thinking of getting the “Dickies Eisenhower”, but once I saw it in person, I was thinking I want to look around more. Feel free to share your thoughts, and maybe post a picture if you can.

I liked what I saw. Excellent work.

Congratulations and welcome to the Legion.

I chose mine, because I always thought it was cool when Han and Luke donned the armor on the Death Star.

I’m in the process of attaching snap to webbing for gluing. Could one of you awesome troopers provide a photo of what the inside of your arms looks like with the snaps inside?

Thank you guys. I used that method to connect my shoulder Bell snap to the elastic that connects my chest plate and back plate. I don’t know why I didn’t think of that.

I made webbing connections from my shoulder bells to my biceps. Before I glue them in, I wanted some input. I made a stack of scrap that will fit in between the raised part of the bell, that way I can glue the plate down. Should I use E-6000? I noticed on the spot on the chest piece, in certain light, the plate gave me what I call “bat nipples”. I’m worried that will happen on my shoulder Bell.

Just the arms. I will see how they do once I switch to the snaps. I’ll report in nd let you know how they did after I troop this Saturday.

I did snaps on the inside of mine, but singles. I have not had problems with the torso, yet. So far, just the arms have been bugging me, so much that I got out of my armor shortly after I started my second troop.

Using a single snap on each end for that connection should be just fine, Mark.
Thank you Joseph.

So, I fashioned these out of elastic and hot glue (I wish I could sew.) These are the Bicep to Forarm connectors.Should I go single or double snap? I’m thinking double would add a little more stability to it.

I have (drum roll please)........
A New Hope TK Stunt!
Working on..........

Thank you, I’ll be here all night!
All kidding aside, I am impressed with all these costumes you guys have. Especially Q and Greedo!

Hello Troopers,
I am having a problem with the straps that are holding my arms together. Whenever I wear it, it seems it fails at the shoulder Bell, and things start sliding downwards. I have Industrial strength Velcro. I wonder if it would be better to use that. Thanks for any input you guys have.

It is strong enough to hold the floating shoulder straps. I hope someone has advice for the other part of the armor.

I do see how they are a little off from each other though.

You’ll use thin white elastic to tie them together.

Excellent job on this. I did notice a typo under the ANH Stunt on the holster section. You spelled worn “wron”. Not that it is affecting to usefulness of your wonderful spreadsheet! I will probably print it out and hang it up for reference.

Any updates on this? Tony (ukswrath) sells the screens for the hovi-tips, https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/40706-fs-ukswraths-hovi-tip-screen/?tab=comments#comment-544584
and I sell the correct screws for the ears (link under my avatar below).
I was just thinking about where to get the screws. Thanks.

My TK-ID is 42134. I was thinking of a number while I was building my armor, and thought “The first three digits of my log in at work is 421!” I added “34”, because it is a favorite number between some close friends and I.

I ordered mine last Wed, and yeah got the same message on lead time. 10-14 days, so it should arrive next week. I'm guessing tracking number will be forthcoming.
Did you get the "B" grade?

Likewise. I can't find any online store for Hyperfirm, so no idea on the cost. I shot them an e-mail, however.
If you have Facebook Messenger, that may be a better way to get a hold of them.
I ordered mine twelve days ago. They said there was a ten to fourteen day turnaround time, so it should be close. Do they send you tracking information once its sent?
