Hello and welcome to the white zone. The maker of an armor kit is no criteria for 501st approval. All what counts is the way it is looking. TKUK Armor is not the most accurate armor available but IMHO it can be made to match the basic approval and after what I can see at your pictures you made a good job. I would suggest to contact your Garrison and talk to them. If there are things that need to be fixed they will help you and we are here to help you too.
All the best!
Hi Ralf, welcome to the FISD. You came to the right place to start your journey to become a TK! For the beginning I recommend to have a look into the "Getting Started" section. The most vital threads are already translated to German in German Embassy .
Reading some build threads and the Advanced Tactics Area is also very helpful to see what's possible.
If you have any questions please ask. We are happy to help you and there are no stupid questions!
Viele Grüße

Welcome to the FISD Daniel! Thorough research is the key to every costume. The FOTK is more work but IMHO equally more fun to build. Here you find a priceless amount of information about it.
All the best!
Hi,
Painting the inside of the Mic Tips white is the correct way:
Don't be confused by the shape of the interior part. I transformed my Mic Tips to air-intakes.

Hi Dave, welcome to the boards!
The key to a successful build is research! I spent nearly 10 months with reading... that was the time I had to wait for my armor. But don't worry, that was a pre-order from Anovos. You don't have to wait that long these days. I'm sure that building armor yourself is a doable task for everyone and a rewarding one too. Just dare to start the build. You'll enjoy it! If you have any questions: we are here to help you to reach your goal and become a member of the greatest military force the galaxy has ever known!
All the best!
Congratulations! There are so many great designs. It would be great if some will be available as Detachment merchandise just without celebration 8 lettering. They would be great to promote for FISD!

Hi, there is not much to add to your to-do-list. So I try to answer some of your questions.
- You can cut the back of thighs and calfs as you need it. The troopers in the movie did the same:
.
- I wouldn't install the thighs higher at the moment. The gap between thighs and calves is ok as it is.
- The butt plate will come closer if you install the Strapping at the outer edges. This will close the gap to the kidney plate too.
- The gap between back and kidney is tooo large. But you already know that.
I hope this helps a little bit. Stay on target, the finish line is not far.
Cheers

Hi Brett,
Welcome to the white zone! Congratulations to your kit! The Anovos armor is a good choice. I enjoyed the building process of my own kit very much! Take your time for your research and don't forget to check the advanced tactics area to see what level of accuracy is possible.
Enjoy your journey!
Best regards
I think tagging is not the worst idea. This would help if someone is looking for a specific armor type. On the other hand you find all build Threads in one single folder. That was good for me when I made my research. I read a lot of build threads of all armor types to pick the parts that fit best for me. I like the mixed build threads. Making an archive to keep the main folder overseeable sounds reasonable though.

Hi Shawn, the CLR say a total of 4 rivets. Two on each side. But I'm unsure about the exact position of them. I would suggest to look for some reference pictures to be safe. LINK
