Thanks Vern. I did follow screen shots of the helmets, so i will leave the small amount of Flashing there. Just to clarify what you mean by the "cover strip following the angles at the elbow"? do you mean i can trim the top of the cover strip at a slight angle to follow the line of the forearm behind piece behind it? or simply cut them a little shorter. These babies are put together with Zappa gap, so not coming apart easily. I appreciate your input.

Moved back onto the fore arms, and was itching to get something else assembled, so here they are. No return edge on front. Might as well build towards centurion, even though I don't want to cut the section out of the kidney plate, as it will be in the wrong position so I don't see the point.

Thanks Aaron I did want to continue with the weathering, and almost started rubbing back some of the barel to expose the steel colour of the Hammer coat, but then thought twice as it should occur through Trooping anyways.

OK, all you AP Stunt gurus out there. Do these look like the correct halves are together, photo is as you are looking at a trooper, i have put Land R under them. Mark from AP did send me a photo of the parts laid out and mentions one piece has a raised detail, which I have assumed is the ridge that runs down the front (the part you trim for size)

How does this look for fit and alignment? Sory for the out of focus photo I couldn't see a thing in that helmet.

Do I trim the return edge off the bottom of the shoulder bells? Oh and that is just a pencil mark,not a crack.

Yes will be making the Han hooks definately. Will get to trimming the shoulder bells and do a test fit. thanks guys.

You will need to trim your fore arms to fit you. Just make sure you can squeeze your hands through the wrists, also the tops need to be in form with the size of the bottom of the Biceps, or at least as close as possible. Remember they have to be comfortable, and you need to move. Any extra space at the elbow or wrist end can be taken up with some foam inserts. Make sure you have your compression top on a swell, when you are taping the fore arms for sizing. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

How do these look for size, when I flex the bicep it touches the sides, fore arm is a tight squeeze to get my hand through.

AP Bucket, 98% complete. Still have to do minor paint touch up and ear rank bars on ears.

On discovering my masking skills were crap, thought I had a minor disaster on my hands. If not for the help of my trusty brethren here on FISD (thank you Slangen Maxsteele and Sith Lord), and some knowledge from my local Garrison, all was not as bad as it seemed at the time. Crappy masking job, before Problem solved....or should I say solvent!!!

Awesome thanks, might as well sand these suckers down and glue them. Haven' t been able to find E6000 here in Aus, so I'm just going to use Zappa gap and zip kicker, any other minor adjustment , will have to rely on the old Dremel. The fore arms fit well with minimal movement, just not sure how snug the Biceps need to be. They also fit quite well with a bit of room to move, as can still flex the bicep. All cover strips are 15-16 mm.
