  1. I had to get Rebel Legion approval. I was shot down by the 501st and Dark Empire, but that was a few years ago. Things may have changed though.
  2. My wife made my abdomen plate and body suit. She's a professional seamstress, so I got lucky :) To do it right, it's ribbed neoprene.
  3. TK1636 assisted me with my armor. NE build and achieved EIB.
  4. Thanks! Debuted it last week at Phoenix Comicon. I thought my TK has hot to wear.. This thing is brutal. I lost 8lbs in water in four hours lol Still it is incredibly imposing. I'm 6'5" in it
  5. I just finished my Old Republic Havoc Trooper for submission to The Rebel Legion.
  6. Star Fortress is now on Etsy as Warpcostumegallery and Amazon at Thor's Costumes and Hobbies. Just an FYI.
  7. Yeah it was the set that came with the NE armor. I'd been toying with painting them anyway so this is good motivation.
  8. Craig W. Chenery 31709 EIB Letter Thank you!
  9. Thank you so much for the feedback. I really appreciate you taking the time advising where I can make adjustments to make it fit better. I fully intend to go for Centurion, so I will work on the requested changes. I had used decals for the helmet, so I think I'll strip them off and paint them by hand to give them a more uniform look. Thanks again! This made my day!
  10. Thanks for the feedback, mate. Much appreciated. We have a great armorsmith in the Dune Sea Garrison. There's no way I could have done this without him. I need to cut back the rivets behind the belt and that should help it to sit better against the buttons. That's an easy fix if needed, I just forgot to do it in my excitement. The ammo belt pic shows the right box lined up with the belt, but not the left I can certainly snap a pic of the left one if needed. I can also dry brush the scope black to diminish the brass if needed. Not a problem at all. Thanks again!
  11. Thanks for the kind words! Once I've finished this path, Heavy Weapons Trooper is next.

  14. I'm 6' 2" 210lbs and the NE armor fits me really well. I had to do very little modification to make it fit me. I'm honestly torn though. The casting itself is beautiful. The ABS is bright white, the detailing is very crisp and sharp. The ABS is thick and strong. However, I don't like the three piece design of the helmet at all and the fact that it turns out to be a recast is very disappointing. The recast story came out after I had purchased mine and I would not have bought it had I known it was a recast set. I intentionally only looked into sellers who did not recast, so the fact this was kept hidden from me is very frustrating. I would not in all good conscience buy a recast. The maker also promised me replacement ears as the ones included were too small. After six months of empty promises and no ears, I gave up. Personally, there were more negative experiences than positive.
  15. Did anyone ever get their replacement NE ear pieces? After many emails of blowing smoke up my butt about them perpetually "shipping next week" since last June, they never came and my emails have gone unanswered. I was told the ear pieces are a tad too small and they'd send new ones, but they never arrived.
  16. I'm wrapping the up the electronics in my helmet and have the icomm and the Aker MR1506 Amp. I'd like to add a wireless mic headset and many have recommended the Memorex MKA382 which is no longer in production. Anyone else have experience with a different model?
