  1. Congrats and welcome to the ranks!
  2. Nice work trooper. Suggestions I have are raise your back armor up so it doesn't over lap the kidney plate. They should lay flush with each other. Also adjust the butt plate so is sits more level. Looks like you may have added some abs to make your thighs close better on the back? I would recommend adjusting the strips so they're more straight. Good luck trooper
  3. Welcome to the FISD Ahmad. Best of luck in your journey!
  4. Congrats and welcome to the ranks!
  5. Looking good trooper. Only suggestion I have is raising your back armor up a tiny bit. Looks like there's a little bit of an overlap on the kidney piece. Good luck sir!
  6. Congrats and welcome to the EIB ranks trooper!
  7. Really? This is still talked about? My blaster doesn't make me a stormtrooper. My costume and my love for the character is what makes me a stormtrooper. The smiles I see on fans, especially the kids, is what makes me a stormtrooper. A blaster is just a prop, not the costume.
  8. Looking sharp trooper. Good luck!
  9. Congrats Rui, glad to have you in the Centurion ranks!
  10. I wondered if anyone was going for this version! Be surprised if it didn't happen.
  11. Post some pics so we can see and maybe help better if the second go round doesn't work.
  12. Great start! Have fun with it! AP is top notch
  13. Hey Ash, welcome to the FISD! Best of luck in your journey into the 501st! You'll have more fun than you already think
  14. Congrats and welcome to the EIB ranks!
  15. Hey Ethan and welcome to the FISD! You're in good hands here. No matter what armor you are going for, the first advise is research and more research. Read and follow other members build threads where you'll learn so much. The second advise is about the dremel. Practice. Find something cheap to cut up and just practice. Third advise, don't let all of the information here overwhelm you. We all have been where you are. When you get the nice big box of armor and start unpacking it, chances are you'll ask yourself what have you gotten yourself into. But once you start, you'll find its much easier and more fun than you thought! Take your time, measure and try on pieces a few times. Cut a little less than what you measure and try on the pieces again. If you're not sure about something, ask about it here....troopers helping troopers is what we're all about! Take a look at the 501st web site and see where your local 501st chapter is and get signed up on their forum. Many garrisons have build parties where members get together and help each other. Like I said, no matter the armor...research, practice, ask questions and most of all, have fun! Good luck Ethan
  16. Only suggestion I have is bring your shoulder bells inward on the front. Good luck trooper!
  17. Congrats Chris! Welcome to the Centurion ranks!
  18. Looks good! Only suggestion is adjusting the thigh since one is higher than the other. Good luck!
  19. Congrats biogradbooth!
