Heh I typed unleashed and it aucorrected to awakens.
-
It's just the ears really on the helm isn't it?
Take a look at some of the grandfathered to armour walking around...shudder.
-
Besides is there even a force awakens speciaList?
-
Even the base URL says most helmets are unsuitable...you need an idealized symmetrical helm. Maybe that what there are no crl photos?
-
Because our costumes are real, irregular, and hard to film. Their costumes are idealized computer models and therefore perfect from every angle I guess.

As posted on Facebook:
For some reason, they don't think the AM2 helmet (because it's a 3 part bucket?) is good enough for Specialist, so I'll probably end up borrowing a friend's WTF bucket to take pictures. Nevermind that I made Centurion over here no problem with an AM2 helmet... whatever.
That would be cheating, a violation of the members agreement , and disrespectful of the other Specialists.
As with photoshopped pictures for submissions, borrowing kit to reach a higher echelon is...well...if you really need the specialist patch that badly.
Sell yours and buy an ata black helm.
-
Ata was slightly over 550 USD shipped to me in Canada. Long wait. Where are you?I upped my budget to $500, anyone know anything?
-
that list only has 1 RT supplier, and im not willing to wait more than 12 months... :-)
my problem is that most kits will be too much work or will never ever fit me proper...
can someone please tell me who can sell me an AM2.0 or RT kit? exact names or locations please.
i don't understand why no one can or will tell me where i can go, and only point me (for me) to vague lists without clear answers.
it is not that i'm asking for something unethical right?
no offence intended, but ive been looking for what to do for so long now...
Only rt sells rt. He only makes do many a year. This is how hobby armour works.
Email him. If he has a list he will add you. Or he won't.

Have you joined the Canadian garrison ? They have dozens of qualified troopers.
-
Rustoleum is for the fiberglass helm.Rustoleum 2X Gloss White has been the recommended armor paint, and for exactly that reason. Another option is to take the helmet to a paint shop and have them come up with a custom blend that matches the helmet.

I can't believe you said " sight the weapon" on a SMG I was taught to hold center mass and say ' sonofabitch' to control automatic fire so as not to waste rounds or melt anything.
-
Im not sure 300.00 will get you anything unless someone been sitting on an anovos preorder...who hasn't already unloaded it for double that.
Most kits are in the 500-800 range. Good luck!

That's what cover strips are for.

Every trooper carries their own body bag. Shelter half. Poncho.I'm still trying to determine if it's a bag or something rolled up like you mentioned, and the seam/edge is against the pack.

The constant on mic won't trigger static more then on power up or off.

It comes with instructions sent by makers of the kits. I think you're seeing references to the PDF given to anovos tfa kits for the holster.
-
Oh I read it as a new Zealand maker of a kit .He means a member has been approved by 501st using that armour. That's completely unrelated to our vendor list.
-
Really? Is he in the list of vendors?I know that there's a guy in NZ that makes a kit that has been approved. Don't recall all the details, but I could get a link for you if you want.

It looks cool.
If you have one inch v accuity and low light vision :-)

You want loose. You want to be a to pad the backs of thighs and front of shins to prevent ninja sniper plates. You want airflow throughout the plastic spaceman.

Lengthen the bicept elastic. Shorten the connecting webbing from bell to shoulder strap. Elastic isn't structural. Webbing is. Get the bell and bicept I. The right spots and glue it all so it doesn't move. Use Velcro for position on the webbing and once it's in the right spot add glue to lock it.
Find a centurion , approved, thread for the same armour you have. Do yours the same way.

There's a YouTube video of an f-11 made in Lego. Looks awesome.
