  1. LoL.. Torok.. I work during the week which means I'm up at 3AM.. Too far of a drive. BTW.. fourth line south to oakville you can go pretty fast.. but still couldn't do it in 30 minutes.

No worries though.. I can take em on my own.

Hey Mark, thanks for the info.. no time for that though.

You're going to troop in it yes? Just take the pics at the first troop. The cg will understand and help out even at fan expo. Ask Steph to take them :-)

Because, unless you have a tripod, lights, clean wall, remote control or use the self timer, taking pics by yourself will end up just being annoying. Shins not straight, sniper plate under thigh, boot tops showing...

  2. Can anybody ID this part?

It is not a standard garden hose fitting, because the diameter is way too small.

I estimate the diameter to be between 1,7 and 2,5 centimeters.

The part is found on the left side of the belt and looks like some kind of ammunition.

Perhaps some hydraulic hose fitting or some kind of cable entry with strain relief?

    Posi lock connectors?
  3. Well thats rather heartbreaking

I guess just because I wear a size 34 waist doesn't mean I have a 34" waist. Tape says I'm 37" at the belly button. Chest is is still a solid 44" of rock-hard gristle.

Thanks sylverbard. The last vestiges of my youth just died today.

BTW, thanks for the info on the MEPD, I'm gonna head over there now :salute:

Better dying vestiges than armour that won't fit :-)
  4.

Well, back when I met my wife 25 years ago I was a svelte yet muscular 6'-2". Think Brad Pitt in "Troy". In the time hence she has beaten me down to 5'-10", and about 215 pounds give or take a doughnut. Holding on to my 34" waist by the skin 'o' my teeth. I no longer resemble Brad, but only because that dude just hasn't aged well.

I'm looking closely at AP Armor. Have heard nothing but good things, plus the guy who makes it is also named Mark :jc_doublethumbup: I think I prefer the heavy-duty nature of ABS & I've also read that they mold their torso sections with a little extra in spots for us 'Husky' types. Any & all advice is appreciated!

BTW- do you have a link to your build thread?

You wife cut 4 inches of height? Harsh .

Is that 34 pants or a tape measure? And around gut at navel and around chest is important.
