One question on these. Is it easier to paint the spice brown ones or the black ones with the angelus white? How many coats? would y'all suggest?

I am doing a DD conversion kit. I've noticed on some ANH blasters the wires sticking out of the counter into the power cell. Is this a necessary mod? Ic an't seem to SEE it on the CRL. I wish they had more angle shots. If I do not have them on my blaster can it still pass for EIB status?

What exactly is the difference between using ROTJ armor and another set? ESB or ANH? Seems the only real difference is the shoulder bells are different. Can you use ESB or ANH with he TKC build and just modify the shoulder bells? I'm curious and new... to all this. I have looked on the crl and aside from the shoulders it doesn't look much different. What doesn't make sense is why you would use ROTJ armor in the first place. Isn't TFU technically taking place right before ANY? Wouldn't the TKs in the game be from that era? Just looking for some clarification

Hey Darkside...question for you. I've decided to do a TKC....going to convert my hasbro blaster with the kit. I noticed on the CRL that the holes you have are 7. I count 8 on the CRL ESB build.....which is the correct amount of holes on the left side? It looks great!

Thanks Locitus! I spent some time on here last night. Actually it's my GF and myself wanting to join the 501st....we both wanna do Storm Trooper Commanders....so we wanna make sure we get something cost effective but that looks good too.

I was wondering the same thing about CTM Props.... I was wondering the same thing. As I don't have any equipment to make my own armor, I thought buying a kit would be best...Is CTM Props any good?....just not sure who to buy from....what sort of plastic....what is easiest to paint, is the most durable....not sure about some of these abbv. either...TX...or ATA...CAP? I'm a noob to the site and could use some help and advice. Hope I'm posting to at least the right section.

Anyone have any advice/knowledge on CMT Props. They have a Facebook page. Are they any good quality wise for the price?
