  1. Someday I may break 30 posts...wait, I think I just did.
  2. Thanks so much everyone, I am humbled beyond words to be joining the EIB ranks. A big thanks to anyone that ever posted a tutorial, photo, build thread, etc. The information here proved invaluable.
  3. Haha, I was thinking that shot was pretty bad too, I just needed someone else to confirm it. Let's try this one. I had actually moved the back plate up after I took that photo, just forgot to send the current shot which is hopefully better. I was going by the CRL which I assumed was current.

  5. 5'11" Yeah, that left bicep looks big in that photo which is odd because it's snug on my actual bicep.

  7. Speaking of finishing up...that reminds me, got this email earlier today. Hello Imperial Citizen! Due to the work you have done for the Empire, along with your correspondence of your Garrison Membership Liaison (GML) and the Legion Membership Officer, your application to join the 501st has been approved!
  8. I finally got the finishing strips in and finished my assembly.
  9. I left a minimal return edge. Now that I'm looking at them I realize I need to do a little more sanding to get rid of the uneven radius. In case anyone is wondering, I purchased some abs material from Trooperbay and used that as an inner strip to get some assembly done. Unfortunately it doesn't match well at all to the RS PVC color so I can't use it as an external strip.
  10. Actually, they forgot to pack finishing strips and a couple of wire bracket which is what has me stalled at the moment.
  11. Finally got around to uploading some pics of the progress. A little bit of trimming and test fitting some assorted parts. Look at all the extra plastic on that forearm Torso is coming together nicely. Oh look, I finally broke something... And this is where I'm currently at with the build. I'm waiting on finishing strips to start final trim and assembly of the arms and legs.
  12. My goodies from Rob and Simon have arrived! I did cheat a little and asked them to build the bucket. Now to the daunting task of putting this together properly. Bowl of Cheerios was optional.
  13. While waiting for some boxes of goodness from RS Prop Masters I figured I'd get to work on my resin blaster kit. This is in no way any sort of tutorial, just a quick pictorial of my novice attempt at building one of these. Hats off to all the folks that did post their builds as I found them an invaluable resource. Looks like customs didn't manage to break or lose anything. I have to admit, the allen cap screws do make this kit look so much better. I opted to not drill out the barrel hole. Starting to look like something familiar now. And the final product... Overall, I think it came out alright. Have to add some wires to the power cylinders at some point. I was surprised at the weight of the finished product, it doesn't feel like you're holding a resin model.
  14. I used to play the following, not all at once of course. Ultima Online Asheron's Call Anarchy Online Star Wars Galaxies WoW I've tried a few others here and there over the years but not playing any now. Once and a while I'll log into something that's free to play but just not into MMO's these days.
  15. Got home from work tonight and found a package from Doopy's on the doorstep, post-marked from 11/27. Maybe the usual holiday backup is why it took a while, Doopy's did indeed ship the item in the time they specified they would. The box looks like it was opened so I'm guessing customs had a peek at the contents. I'm sure under an x-ray it looked like gun parts. Everything was intact otherwise and kit looks great!
  16. I ordered an E-11 full resin kit from Doopydoo's which was paid for on 11/19. I sent an email on the 27th to ask about status and received a same day reply stating that item was dispatched. Their website does mention that it may take 10-14 days for shipments to arrive outside of the UK, so I've been giving them some time.
