Guys at RS have done a fine job with this helmet. And I love how the brow sits. Only low brows right above the eyes for stunt helmets is getting really boring lately. -

That sniper knee plate is not perfectly aligned... You're done man. You'll never be Centurion! -
Han and Luke aren't the only ones to wear a Hero helmet. --------------- And I've got a lot more for ya if you still need to be convinced...

That's cool if you've gotten yourself one of the original ATI stock. Just a word of advice though: as i've said in my topic, this TFA stock as few alterations compared to the ATI part. Be sure to check them out. And don't worry if you decide to use my model, you've already done quite some work from your side. Right now, I don't see any problem to let you mold it and do runs with it. And if ever you need i can also try to make some adjustements for a better fit with your model's scale.

Have you done that with a 1.5mm armor or the latest 1mm? And a video would definetely be helpful, i sometimes have a lot of trouble explaining some folks that the thicker the ABS is not always for the better. -

I like the look of those three rivets with scratched paint. It adds to the flavour like you say. -

Sigh... I can't get enough of these updates... Is it bad doctor? Now i gotta ask: can we brush you hair and undress you everywhere? -
Thank you Fabien. This is really looking lovely

Beautiful armor and application! Good luck. About the twisting the rigt shin for a better line up with the thigh, it's a bit more complicated. The way the AP right shin is, if you line up the top of the shin's cover stripe with the thigh, then the bottom is off. And if you line the bottom, the top is off. There's no real perfect alignment possible, so don't be too much bugged about that.

FISD E-11 BLASTER REFERENCE
The5thHorseman replied to FISD E-11 Reference Team's topic in ANH BlasTech E11
I read that you haven't found any pictures for the "Z-shaped" scope rail, so here it is, straight from the film: There's also a common picture of a Bapty blaster (the one with a wooden block inside the magazine) showing this kind of scope rail. Also, i think it should be mentionned somewhere that the hengstler bracket is an invention from the 501st and that in fact, for ANH, the hengstlers were only glued to the side of the scope and receiver of the blaster. Lastly, the correct way to secure the scope rail at the rear sight end is to use a transversal bolt (or screw) going through the rear sight just above the scope rail. If you pay attention, you can see on most of the blasters a protuberance at the sides of the rear sight whereas the original Sterling part is rather flat. Actually, i do think the internal mobile part of the rear sight needs to be removed, the scope rail fitted, and then the side holes of the rear sight (freed from the original pin) used to secure the rail with a bolt and nut. -
Very nice conversion. Can we have a picture of the single-sheet bubble lenses?

You wrote Split rivets for the belt, but i believe you meant CAP rivets. You better watch that typo! -
Actually, take a look at all A. Kurosawa's films while your at it. He's a genius! And it seems we're going to have Snowtroopers with pauldrons...

Who can argue with screenshots taken directly from the film anyway? If you don't like the holster i'm certainly not the one who will fight you trying to impose it. However the reason why is interesting. I think maybe the ones missing the holster might just have tried to holster their so heavy e-11 and got the thing ripped off. When you look at some belt (especially the belt of the Hero Stormtrooper talking to the two crew guys before the Falcon) you can see former rivets holes meaning the holster had to be refastened to the belt. And damn, i'm really impressed to hear your a tameshigiri champion... Trained by the teacher of S. Seagal... Hats off! -

Chambara movies are like my favorite movies at the moment! Are your really a tameshigiri champion? Must be awesome! You definitely should defend and keep that title. -
