Hey guys, So I was thinking that next year I would start on a build of a Death Trooper. I just have a question, where is it that you all wear this kit? I know most the troops in my area are all kid orientated and I think it would freak them out if I were to show up looking like a Death Trooper. So just wondering what kind of troops you all do wearing this kit?

Yeah I got one that looks pretty much exactly the same, I had to trim a bit off to make it fit a bit better. Other than that I have no issues with it, works great.

Here are shots of the black elastic straps on the biceps and the white elastic for the shoulders. Yeah I did notice that the right side had bigger gaps by the shoulder bell and the thigh, lol, looks lopsided. I will have to adjust the straps a bit and will also do the rivet in the back of the drop boxes. Will have to put it on hold for a month as I am going overseas for work, but will fix all of that as soon as I get back.

So finally got approved and starting life anew as TK-11610. Seen how everybody has cool signatures at the bottoms of their posts and was wondering if I could get any tips of how to go about making one. I have a Mac, any good opinions on programs that work for that?

LOL, good advice from all. For me its not so much the pinching, I guess I am just not used to the sounds of the armor when it clanks with itself makes me think that something is breaking. I guess I will just have to learn to live with it, the armor is way too awesome to let something like that stop me, lol.

I have PVC RS Armor, but every time I put it on I find myself being very cautious. How long did it take you all till you felt comfortable doing full movements in your armor?

Yeah, I don't have the bottom of them trimmed like that to fit over the boots properly. They are just straight on the bottom, looks like I got more work to do when I get home lol. Thanks for the help and info.

I got the shins together, but the more I look at other TKs kits I see that they have the bottom of the shins rounded out to go over the boots better. I was just wondering if this is a mandatory mod since it is in the picture on the 501st website or is it just preference? Also wondering how exactly one would go about it to get the right amount rounded off the shin. Any suggestions would be great.

I am getting the PVC kit, so I am kinda hoping that with that material it will be more durable.

Alright, so I am getting an RS Props kit with original brackets. This is my first kit, and I've seen a lot about snaps in the threads here. I'm just wondering for trooping is it better to have the brackets or snaps?

I have my own little girls who love Star Wars, I would not anything happening to them because of it. She's got my support, PP sent.

So I have been on here researching for when I am ready to get my E-11, as I will be doing an ANH stunt TK. I have heard of doopydoos, hyperfirm and a pipe build. I was just wondering what eveybodies opinions were as which way would be the best way to go. I would like to be able to go Centurion eventually and I know the requirements are different for the blaster. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
