  2. I had to heat bend my knee plate considerably. Bending the two triangle side pieces inward, as well as altering the angle of both, until it fit well enough and I knew there would not be too much tension on the glue. Use a lot of clamps and wait the full 72 hours to dry. Evaluate, and add glue if needed.
  3. Here is my build post...perhaps there is some enlightening info in it for you. I had to redo the thighs at on point. http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/24519-telsas-anh-stunt-ap-build/
  4. Woo Hoo! Thanks for compliments and the suggestions ! I will indeed be submitting for Centurion soon!
  5. Oh, thanks! Let me know if you need advice - I will be happy to share what I have learned!

  7. Requesting access for TK-42194 http://www.501st.com/members/displaymemberdetails.php?userID=16497 Thank you!
  8. Helmet padding: I used e6000 Shins: I used white industrial strength Velcro with adhesive already on it (I used this because I already had it). I discovered that using CA glue (superglue) in conjunction with the Velcro that comes with adhesive already on works very well. Teeth Mesh: I used e6000 Hope that helps!
  9. TK-42194 reporting for duty! Pew! Pew!

  10. I am planning to spend a few hours walking around my house and my block just to see what else I can fix. in the process of adding foam to various pieces now.
  11. YES! I am going to cut them to an angle - well spotted. And I forgot about the bucket screws - thanks for the reminder!
  12. So, to improve my TK for actual trooping: Recommended location for belt to ab snaps (to hold the belt up)? I have seen on the two "nobs" near the center of the ab, on the outermost sides of the ab, and a combination of both. What has proven to hold the best / look the best? Should the snap be in the center of the canvas or favor the top third so that the belt doesn't hang incorrectly?
  13. Thanks! It is great to be here! I think I will troop the Dallas Children's Holiday Parade Dec 7th. it would be very appropriate as that is where I was first inspired to join the 501st when I saw the star garrison in 2011. meanwhile, I'm going to work out a few little tweaks on the armor!
  14. It's funny. I was only able to take one day off from working on my armor! I have already gone back to tweaking - adding foam, improving the function, etc...
  15. TK-42194 reporting for duty!

  16. I am finishing my helmet and submitting mu?y images today to my GML!
  17. How do my shoulder straps look? thickness on the edges? the bend? How does my first go-round on the helmet paint look? I know I need to get a smaller brush to finish painting the teeth correctly for a Stunt, but besides that...do I need to get closer to the "edge" of each tooth? They screen shots vary wildly...
