  1. Can I borrow a couple posts? My count is looking a little stale at the moment. Congrats for your enthusiasm to the cause!
  2. Perhaps this fella has gone and got in touch with his inner nerd and wanted to share it with the costuming community at large. I hope he realizes that he only has friends to gain. Much more so than locking away his builds and treating them as "my precious".
  3. Sure, let him play. Massage his ego and tell him you love him. Who knows, he might share his toys?
  4. Very nice. More women would be nice too but I loved the bike stuff. Sometimes Garrsions can take there selves a bit too seriously. More fun, less serious. Life is for the living!
  5. As a Disney nut, I'm doing some Mouse love all week but I hope to be at there on Friday checking out the scenery. Not sure if I'll party it up as I might just hold it all in til DragonCon.
  6. Three cheers. That things pretty wicked.
  7. Wishing I was at DIsneyWorld!

  8. You hit the local Target and well, I'll take a guess that you were looking at Star Wars figs? No? Its not sarcasm either. You see, I cant tell you how many times I've been to a Target/Wally/Mall/etc., and get stopped by folks wanting to know more about my 501st shirts! I think its great that there's such an interest and am more than happy to oblige with the gift of gab. I love our detachment because Stormies are such icons. Everytime I troop with a Sandie from the MFP or MEPD, they just ask me why he's dirty!
  9. I'm with ya Margaret! But unfortunately I'm pretty ignorant about the computer stuff. I'm still trying to figure out how to increase the kb size so i can upload my avatar I use over at the legion. I think we should email an administrator!
  10. I've always been fascinated by the stormies! I too saw the movie as a kid back in 77 so come 78 or so I bought my first fig, a stormie for 77 cents at a local department store. That led to a toy collecting craze that only briefly halted for the love of good women as the teenager turned into a young man. When POTF2 came out, I got back into toy collecting around 96 and met Dave Prowse at a local comic show. Well, marriage and three kids later led me to become a Disney fan and Star Wars and Disney go hand in hand. I've hit the parks(s) for most every SW weekends each May and the kids obviously saw my excitement each year. After watching stormies patrol the rooftops of MGM and seeing the excitement of kids faces watching the 501st, I said thats it, I'm resurrecting the child in me and becoming that TK I always wanted to be as a kid. Oh and the Hard Rock Hurricane down at Universal helped push me over the edge as well!
  11. It is a great looking patch you all have put together. Reminds me a bit of the MAC/SOG patch from Vietnam with it's skull and crossed rifles. Very imposing as is befitting this detachment of TK's
