  1. You can't see the aerator/Hovi on the actual helmet as it's on the side away from the camera. Yup, singular! Edit: Beat me to it!!
  2. I'm going on the record to admit... I love these! How they look with the new armour obviously remains to be seen, but I'd have one of these suckers in a heartbeat.
  3. Don't worry Mr. Haggis, most of us know a Billagram when we see one, with or without a tag.
  4. Hi Rich, Seems as though you really want to buy from eBay! And while there's nothing to stop you, I (like the others that have posted above) feel it would be a waste of time and money. These built and part-built suits that you've highlighted will do you no favours at all if you're looking to get a raw untrimmed kit to do yourself, especially if you get an RS. All you'd be doing is comparing these old kits to the raw parts you have in front of you. This could be more of a hindrance than a help, especially if the previous owner has trimmed it incorrectly. Do yourself a favour, save your money, buy your final proper kit, look at reference pictures (of on-screen armour ideally) and ask questions here if you're still unsure. We were all daunted by our first build, and we're all here to help. Si.
  5. And just to be contentious... Thighs, boots, shins, "ab-cod-chest-back-butt (in one)", bells & biceps, forearms, gloves, helmet. In that order. edit: Forgot to put my belt, holster & TD on again. Doh!
  6. Hopefully the putty will have sorted it out for you. Just as a side note... When I was doing the research for my counter mod, Vern kindly measured up and posted the dimensions for me Original dim request thread: http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/21494-hengstler-face/?p=266918 Then I created the template for cutting the resin out: http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/21433-simpixels-e-11-doopy-build/?p=270319 I made the actual number image itself 0.5mm smaller than the window opening to allow it to fit in easier (which is helpful if the rebate isn't quite sharp at the inner corners). Also, on the flat grey parts of the number image, you'll see that the edges at the start & end of the number aren't as wide as the parts above & below the number. This is so that it looks more in keeping with an original Hengstler (to my eye at least). Hope you get it sorted out OK. Si.
  7. The window template PDF I sent already has all the dimensions on it (on the top left hand corner of the page). The window part should print out at 34mm wide x 10mm high. The numbers themselves should print out at 33mm x 9mm to give you .5mm clearance all round (just in case the edges of the slot that's cut isn't quite square).
  8. As I mention in my thread, I'll happily make one in any number you like: (just print out 100% @ 300 dpi and it'll be the right size) And if you PM me an email address I'll send you the PDF template I made too, it has all the sizes on. (That's the Adobe Reader PDF for the Hengstler window sizes, not the Photoshop file for the actual numbers)
  9. It was Univers LT Std 59 Ultra Condensed that I used. It appears that the only tweak I had to do was the spacing to get it to fit correctly on the spools: ----------- Close enough.
  10. Congrats Lee, see you in a couple of weeks.
  11. Can't quite recall which font I used (I'm away from home right now), will take a look on Monday. But yes, I do remember having to alter a few parameters in Photoshop to get it close.
  12. Yup, what Rich says. Welcome to the world of white from one Notts dweller to another.
  13. Looking gook for a beginner... the photography I mean.
  14. We'll be there all 3 days. See you then.
