Cool thanks man! Will definitely pick some up tomorrow

Was wondering what grade of sandpaper is best used go sand down rough edges on the armor? Like the biceps, shins, forearms, thighs, and chest? Thanks in advance
-
Trooperbay is Legit they resell some items from vendors from here so they are well trusted
-
Dang, You got me all motivated now. Nice Post man . I am definitely going to sand and glue my biceps tomorrow.
Keep up the good work. Take a lot of pics! so I could use as reference. Keep it up Lee, your doing GREAT!

Only 5W too. I doubt it will sound good. Spend the extra $20.00US and get an Aker.
Ahh I didn't see that. Thanks for pointing it out. Yea probably not haha.
-
I saw it while looking up some things but I am sure some people want to get an AKER AMP set but this is cheaper. So thought I would share ----------------It ends today at 11:59PM

Craig you didn't cut off the overlap on yours huh? you just used a cover strip of it being butt joined?
Hey Jesse,
Congrat's on RT-Mod as your choice of Armor, it's awesome. While overlap is acceptable for Basic approval it won't be long until the cover strip method is required for Centurion. It's not really that hard to do, and is far more accurate as it was the method used in the movies anyway.
Rob supplies a couple of pieces of ABS with his kit that match the colour so you have enough to use for outer cover strips, and you can simply get some white ABS from elsewhere to use for the inner strips.
Here is a link to my build thread showing the cover strip method :- http://www.whitearmo...-thread-rt-mod/
Good luck with your build.
Cheers
Craig

I was wondering for those who have RT-Mod armor what was your choice? If you chose overlap is it even 501st approved... Well let me know what you guys did and even if any of you could post photos of what you did would be AWESOME! Thanks in advance guys .

I tried screaming at my armor all night. This morning, it had yet to put itself together. Looks like I'll have to do it myself.
So disappointed! Grrrr......
HAHAHAHAHA! I laughed so damn hard

lol! too funny

Dang I told you he would send you another. He's a great guy to deal with. Adding battle damage to your extra would be sweet! Show me how it comes out after
-
Damn man doing really great!
-
Oh shoot! Never mind! I see what you mean.. Damn that sucks! Tell Rob I am more then certain he will send you another Ab Plate. He ended sending me another Thermal Detonator because the one he sent was bad.. He is great at his customer satisfaction. So far he has been a great help and honestly it is a great feeling knowing that all your worries will be answered and not just put on the back burner after he gets his money. Great guy to deal with I am sure he could send you a replacement

what do you mean Ab button plate is molded upside down?Hey Jesse, no I didn't hardly trim at all. It came together pretty easy. I just fit one piece per night and plugged away at it. I did the over lapping seems as the instructions said and used E6000 on all of it. Just watch out for using too much glue and overly strong clamps so as to not deform the pieces. So far the only issue I have come up with is that the ab button plate is molded on upside down. But that shouldn't be that big of a deal. Good luck on your build too! Hope to troop with you and my Garrison mates soon!

Damn Looking good!

Good luck mate! My armor has been sitting in my guest bedroom since I got it! I scattered it out and started my snaps but nothing more.. ;(. Did you trim a lot? Well so far your build looks amazing!

IS that elastic holding the armor or is it nylon? Whats the difference honestly..
