A bit of a set back using the masks but came out alright at the end

Got to work around the helmet a litle more

Some masking and then painting the grey areas What do you guys and gals think? is the thickness of the black line ok?? And now the frown and the ears

I started to paint the details on the helmet, as an advice, just paint one square and let it dry, I did all 4 at the same time and it was hard not to get paint all over. I'm going to paint the grey that way, one at the time.

Thanks, yeahh there's a bit of a gap on the back side of the right ear, but I've sen that in the photos of the originals there where some gaps too

Also helmet masking for helmet pads All masked out for the velcro pads First coat of hammered black And finally a coat of matte black Now cutting out the eyes and frown vents Ear test I'm having a little gap on the back of the right ear

Hello troopers !! I'm about to paint the ab buttons , I have Humbrol gray 5 , but for the blue I have 15 Midnight blue and 14 French blue, which one is acceptable?

First attempt with Gorilla glue didn't work, maybe 2 part epoxy will do the trick.

Right on!!! I'm ready to mount the rivets, do this looks ok? oh and what kind of rivet goes on the right side, is just a normal snap lika this one right?

Ok , now to the torso, I see that they are 6 rivets in one side, 3 on the kidney plate and 3 on the abs plate, is there a specific distance from the edge , I mean are they evenly spread? Also there one rivet on the right side of the abs plate , is there also a specific distance from the top and from the side? and is that a normal rivet, or is it bigger in size?

Heyya Tim, , you are right the Td came out a bit dark, I'll grab the Testors paint when I get a chance, I have humbrol but that's for the bucket!
